However, if his policies culminate into positive achievements for the American people, the US economy may boom far beyond our projections and his ...making America great again...can be a reality. Good evening everyone , I applied for study permit on 11/11/2016. I got admission pgc Sustainable agriculture because my undergraduate course was crop production and soil science and I was due to resume on January 9 I couldn't make the resumption because my application for study permit hasn't been granted yet.I passed medicals last week and I asked the school if I could still resume before month end but they said no. Now they gave options of deferring the admission till 2018 winter cos they admit for the program once a year or I choose another program for may/September but none of the programs they are offering are in line with my undergraduate course. Am confused on what to do now cos waiting till 2018 will mean wasting a whole yeah Your advice and suggestions are needed urgently. Thank you |

Mrtoke:Sometime, there is a time delay from when an online application is updated and when the applicant gets a notification to check application status.. Also, your route of application is quite not clear, you mentioned it was an online application and also mentioned your tracked it and it showed still processing. Was it a paper application and was later linked online? 2. If you linked your paper application online, you won't see a medical call other than the one sent to you through your mail. You will only see an update on your profile (passed/failed). 3.You cannot track an online application through VFS website. You only see updates on your CIC account. I'm assuming your application was paper and later linked online. If this is the case and since your agent said your app was approved today, it may take a day or two for the application to reflect on VFS tracking site as 'dispatched to VFS'.. So give it some time and re-check. Lastly, Get your account details from your agent and check your account yourself. This is the only way you can know exactly all the updates on your application. Since the agent said your app have been approved, obviously, he/she have linked your app online(if it was paper) and have access to your account and can see all the updates. So request the log in details and then you log in yourself, see your account updates and put your mind at rest. 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 9:18pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
gkgraphics:If your interest is really in the program you applied for your study permit with, why not still hold on and resume when it is available considering it is what you really want while getting yourself useful in readiness for the start in winter 2018. Alternatively, if you don't want the ones they are offering you, you can apply for other programs(at same level or higher than the one you applied for a pemit with) in other schools and if eventually your study permit is approved, you notify CIC of change of DLI(school) through MyCIC account and proceed with the new program of interest in another school offering it for fall 2017 if you can wait till winter 2018. 1 Like |

Hello travel to canada section, i have been a guest reader for a while before i decided to join. I was refused my trv. The school sent me a refund email. They said after sending the filled form the refund process would take 8-10 months. It is a wire transfer. Does it take that long? Justwise and all the elders in the house. I need your opinion. Please. |

Austinpee4:Thanks for your prompt response I like one of the courses they are offering but it's related to computer science. And the other is project management If cic request for another admission letter before my permit is granted won't they raised a flag about the correlation of the undergraduate course and the pgc course. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 9:46pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
gkgraphics:They sure will and they may decide to review their decison again! So while you wait, you should get the winter 2018 offer then and once the study permit is approved, you choose how you want to proceed. Also note, if you decide to change school for any reason, you must notify CIC of a transfer of DLI through myCIC account. My advise will be, get the offer for winter 2018 and get your study permit first. 1 Like |

Austinpee4:Thank you so much for this deep one, my application is online route ,my agent only send me d medical request slip and I printed it through my mail, all through this time I kept checking my status on vfs site but I couldn't get anything than your application is been processed, when the agent told me that my medical is updated to pass, I also tried checking but it wasn't updated to medical pass, so I'm bothered if that is normal |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 10:15pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
gkgraphics:Well, i thought it was a winter 2017 admission you had. Anywhere, your plans should be sept(fall)2017 or jan(winter)2018 because CIC haven't made a decison yet on your application and you don't know when they will request for the new offer later and make the final decison. It may exceed your probability and leave no time for you. You have to put this into consideration and give enough time for unforseen delays and time to prepare for your trip when an approval is given to your application. So aside the winter offer from your school, any other offer you get should either be for fall 2017 or winter 2018. May might be too close. Your call all the same. |

Naira4Dollarz: Hi. Sorry about the delay. When did u apply for the TRV and through which mode? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 10:29pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
Mrtoke:Your case is quite confusing but as much as i can understand, your agent has access to you online account with CIC while you have your tracking details for VFS site. Thing is, i don't think online application can be tracked on VFS website(stand to be corrected) but if you insist it was an online app, i really don't know what to think. Also, if you are tracking on VFS site to see medical update, it is impossible. You won't see that. You only see movement of your application from VFS to the canadian embassy and when it starts being processed. You only see real time update of your app through MYCIC account and not VFS website. You agent apparently has more information and control over your application than you. So meet your agent, tell him or her to show you your account with CIC and ask questions. You have a RIGHT to that. Nobody here can know what has transpired all through your application. Let the agent know your worries and take control of your application. You paid for God sake! Unless it is a free something..Lol. Congrats! I personally think your app have been approved. |

False, online application can be tracked on VFS website, on going for ur biometrics, VFS gives u a slip that has a tracking id to monitor ur application. Austinpee4: |

Hello house, gurus, anyone with similar experience, please help My cosponsor is my mum. She retired last year and has just registered her hospital in CAC adding some of her children as directors including me. She stated that d funds for d sponsorship are from her savings while in active service and not that d hospital is sponsoring. 1.)Is it wise to submit d CAC cert bearing in mind that d date on it will be very close to the submission date or wud it be a red flag? 2.)do I state dat I am a director and also employed as a staff of the hospital as I have an employment letter? 3.)If I should submit the CAC cert, do I include d form that shows d names of d directors? Thanks PS. I read yemdogg's post of May 21. Could retiring last year and her returning from vacation be a good reason for the "just now" registration. |
