Oga, do you have any information about where to get contemporary/modern furniture in Ibadan/Lagos? I'm willing to buy naija to grow naija but I'm running out of time coz none that I've seen so far meets my standard.

I must say that some of us looked into the alternatives and try to implement them, but after much effort and dealing with our societal constraint, it was only wise to do what's traditional and implement new methods where do able. The Fx thing, also a deterrent. Some items you see abroad for, say $200, if you can look pass the New Brand, there are functional alternative already from Euro that are like #50K. So if you do he conversion, its not worth the headache of custom.

The Secretary of ISECOM was kidnapped. The gun men were about 20 in number and they operated from 10 till about 2 am.

Three people including an estate security guard, 2 OPC guards attached to the man were killed.

A burglary proof, CCTV, even a gun, cannot deter these kind of people.

These below should take care of naija robbers unless they come with tanks.

If you can get ur hands on remington 700 308 sniper rifles and a night vision glasses...setup at a(Vantage point)...preferably ur pent or top floor. You can make things happen before they enter ur compound.


Also get some short guns and pistols....this will be very useful if they sneak up on you so fast.

A sniper only needs to make those calculations and adjustments when shooting over long distances. At close range it's not necessary.

A gun yes, but a well trained homeowner can indeed defend himself against that many assailants if he's well equipped.
