ok, let us be serious about technicality, taking photos? digital photos? put by where? computer? but it will break down within 2 or 3 years, and a hard disk death will destroy everything. to put in camera? it would be stolen. and camera SM card will lose memory, say, 10 years. even digital photos will be murky. photos by electronics will not fade, this is a fairy tale. and i bet , you will not still keep one of your girlfriends' photos 10 years after you get married, or, you may not even bother yourself to stash the photos away before you sense there could be a disk death in a near future.

by the way, hair, after bones, or burned ashes, is the second thing that can last longest, from human body. if well kept, it will not rot, after generations.

and bones have no smell. anyway , you will take a pube keepsake more willingly than you take your love's bones. at least the former will remind you of the passion.
