khasm: This is not a good step atall in my opinion, u risk rejection based on home ties. It is better you do urs first, then immediately after you get yours you can submit theirs... And i also dont tink ur wife will have any problem applying for visiting visa anytime she feels like seeing you. I dont see the need to complicate your application. Stating to the VO dt your wife and children will be in Nigeria while you are studying will make them believe that you plan to come back and take them as good home ties, bt u will complicate ur application by requesting for sometin else for them at this time. Canny wont steal u away from ur wife. I have a frnd presently in canny, and the sister gets visiting visa easily to go and see him, how much more ur wife and children... Play safe Good luck 7 Likes 2 Shares |
Thanks for your advice@elimsme. Have thought about the complications and the possible implication. Buh sincerely, I need them to come with me, how do I go about it? You mean once I get mine first, I can immediately submit theirs? Even before I travel? 1 Like |

1soul:I declared all my siblings.. .all four of them, one my full blooded brother with the same surname as mine and my other two half brothers and sister with different surname from mine and still got my TRV! I don't know what you're hiding or why. Plus i didn't submit any birth certificate or any form of ID for them. I just answered the family information question honestly and that's all |

Thats your best option, u have a very high chance of getting ur TRV if u apply alone, cuz dt will be your home ties. Applying with them is too risky 2 Likes |

goodnews1111:If one is not residing or have not been residing in nigeria, he/she does not need the police clearance cert from nig.You only need police clearance from nig and maybe other countries you've lived more than 6 months when you are applying from nigeria. People abroad are only expected to submit CIC required documents for the country the are applying from and possibly provide biometric since nigerians need to provide that. It's in rare cases canadian embassies abroad require police clearance issued in nig for nigerians applying from such countries and even if they do and if it involves biometrics, the nigerian embassy in such country will handle it. The right thing to do is to advise people to go and do it themselves becos their biometrics will be taken which is very IMPORTANT. There shouldn't be a short cut to this. 3 Likes |

The following are most likely to work against you. 1. Home ties in country of residence. 2. Insufficient fund. 3. Purpose of visit. khasm: 1 Like |

khasm: bro if you dont apply alone you risk your app a refusal from the VO on not less than 3-4 grounds. from your financial analysis here base on what you posted, it cant fly for your entire family going with you at once, just as a moniker listed the kind of refusal reasons you risk ur app in the above posted. lets not do a gamble with TRV, bro do the needful by first applying alone and when you get yours then you can apply for them, that's d easiest way out of this as far as i know. this economy no make sense to dey dash VFS your hard earn money biko. 4 Likes |

oluwamalik:I want to be certain again that @yemdogg already addressed your concerns? Please check previous posts.... Meanwhile the United States has not banned you from applying but it may be wise the sooner you realise the weight of being rendered inadmissible into a country as Canada! Since it's obvious that info relating to you will be shared btw Canada and US, i am not in position to guess what US's VO reaction will be to the development. There's no harm in trying but note that.... suppressing info and misrepresentation is regarded as a crime.... Good luck. 3 Likes |

Thanks @folaroyal. It's better I back out. But what I don't understand is this. From the refusal letter from CIC, they did not check the boxes for either 2yrs or 5yrs ban. So I've been think could it be an error from the VO? Cos I don't know if I should go with d 2yrs ban or five yrs ban or better still, should I send a mail to them to know d length of the ban? Thanks |

Good evening house, please I submitted my application for visitor's visa via paper route on 15th feb, and I just linked it online! I hope there's no harm in what I've just done? Please help me develop heart attack 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 11:09pm On Mar 05, 2017 |
Kenniei:Ok, no problem! Ow long heart attack u need?? 4 months? 6months? 1 year? And at what time of the day will you prefer it? Lol You will not and we will NEVER help you develop any form of heart attack biko! You did a good thing, so worry less. You can now see updates on your application having linked it. All communication from CIC will be from your account. You should be checking your mail regularly for a notification of an update(if you ticked d box for notification in your acct) as well as the account. Relax, everything is in order. |

goodnews1111:Well, it's best for one to always follow the laid down guidiance and avoid any process that does not represent such.I will assume that an acceptable fingerprint must be done under supervision(official or non official) unless otherwise stated.A supervising signature has to be signed. The officer in quote could be prosecuted if found indulging in a cut-corners stuff because it's a criminal investigative matter, precision of informations must be traced to a verifiable source. We haven't really heard of this particular style here. Most people usually go to do it themselves and negotiate the amount to pay. If that is what you were told, you don't have to advise people to follow suit. Advise them go there themselves and through the normal procedure to avoid a major setback or problem. Let their decisons there be at their own detriment. Don't aid it. It's also for your own good. 1 Like |
