duuduu: What school did u graduate from? If you are married, you can gain 5 points for partner points, provided she is less than 50, has competent English, positive assessment for an SOL occupation. Currently 70 point is required for SA state nomination. |

@ bolaobby, The few one available goes to the highest bidder. I doubt if the person that told you that is being faithful to you, I just called our link there now after reading your post, but he refuted the above. However, he corroborated the unavailability of the booklets, but claimed it will be available within a month. So, what they do is for you to come around, process everything & when booklets are available, they fine tune all they have prepared and then issue them to the owners. He concluded that "it's no longer a do it and collect in a day thing like it used to be. May God help Nigeria. 1 Like |

Please i want to confirm the passport renewal process to take a final decision. If I start the process now, do I need to drop my current passport with immigration through out the renewal process and if I do not need to drop it, would I still be able to travel with it even after i have started the renewal process and new one not ready. I am thinking of getting it sent to me via DHL when ready and am already in Australia. quote author=bellong post=54533441] Why not check States like Kwara or Osun where demands are not as high as in Lagos? For renewal in Australia, you will have to travel to Canberra to get it done. Sometimes Nigerian association in each state organises group renewal by bringing them over to your stats for.a fee. This is the embassy website.... http://nigeria-can.org.au/e-passport-services/
|

But note that when you start the processing here you will still have to travel back to Nigeria to collect it personally. No one can collect it for you. This is what is hapening to my sister now.she came back for the christmas hols from southafrica and renewed her passport in december.because her passport expires in april, even till now her passport is not yet out. They went to southafrican embassay to see if they can get it frm there, but they declined and said since the process has already started from nigeria, she must have to go back to nigeria to collect it. Imagine wasting how much on fight ticket just to come back and collect passport. 1 Like |

Hello House, I have just been contacted by GSM Brisbane. They asked for: 1. Evidence of change of name for all other names (for me and my husband) mentioned in my application and 2. PCC for these names. Please i need urgent help with these questions Can we use court affidavits as evidence for the name change? Can one PCC serve for up to 3 names of one person? Also can we get PCC (Nigeria) without an international passport bearing each of the names? These names are not officially in use, but appear on birth certificate and degree result. cc jamson |

Bambizzle4k4556: You can ask your questions. There are several people who have a positive EA assessment that can be of help. What discipline is your engineering degree? Have you checked if it is on the SOL or CSOL? Start preparing for English test, you need IELTS 6 in each part for EA assessment. There's virtually every needed information for anyone trying to assess with EA on this platform, if you don't mind just try and read through this thread then ask questions on areas you need further clarification. |

Bambizzle4k4556: Why should anybody PM you. As a research student, you have resources at your disposal on the thread, yet you are asking someone to pm you. Being in the country already is no advantage for anybody to give you a customised guidance. You were part of the group advised to be patient and come on PR instead of student visa but you were too much in a hurry because you had plenty money to spend... If you are ready, you will read and follow through with info on the thread. 9 Likes |

baenoz: I think @jamson got a PCC for his spouse with change of name documents. I want to believe you can do the same, go to alagbon with evidence of name change, the PCC you have and your international passport. As per proof, I want to believe you have affidavit to show for the name change, get it notarized and also if you published in the papers you can attach that as evidence. |

incemay: Thanks a lot incemay. The issue is that i don't have international passports bearing each of these names except for that in the name i now bear after marriage. Alagbon contact is saying we have to provide int. passport in those names (i pray and hope our current passports can cover for this) and that they will issue us PCC for each name. Do we have to notarize the court affidavit? |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 6:58pm On Mar 13, 2017 |
baenoz: If you don't have international passport in your maiden name, do the PCC for your current name. Send an email explaining your circumstances that you can only get PCC with a passport. The request is ridiculous though. No need to notarize a court documents. That is a notarization in itself. |

toslad: Many thanks. Please I havd sent you a PM. Vetassess? The name alone makes one shudder. Not at all. I am opting for CPA. @ 40manlappy. Thanks for the comment. May the good Lord grant you tripple honour (more than peeps that study PPE in OAU) on all the three fronts and you will have cause to choose as you prefer. 1 Like |
