Humility017: Bro, i may have been too factual, middle or no middle & sentiment apart, is like you have not been reading comments here with people saying he's been struggling against african oppositions, but not just that, but in most games of late. Though he scored against zambia aside that, he contributed little. Have you not seen his Arsenal performances of late? Bar the entire team, he has dipped in quality. Though still young with room for lot of improvements all round. And i am but patiently waiting. If i could watched JJ Okocha from a showman in Mauritius in '93 to a far better team leader in the EPL, why not him. |

zoboizee:the entire arsenal team have been struggling lately even their coach... well I get you....let's hope he improves and build on his form...to be true...I am not an arsenal fan but his touches are so wonderful... we all know arsenal as a team with one of the best passing accuracy in England... iwobi have been excellent in his passes...that I love him for. don't think Wenger would've entrust him wit such playtime if he wasn't good enough... 1 Like |

Old tradition. The coaches, refs, players and die hard home supporters expect their team to win at all cost. An away team will easily move on from being cheated in a match compared to when they lose at home. tbaba1234: |

tbaba1234: The home team do not travel while the away teams most times travel long distance by road. Mostly a case of fatigue. |

Joebie: I was checking league results just now and everyone won at home. Getting a draw away is a great deal. |

SharpJoe: This is a comment I posted weeks ago in which I considered there individual attributes. Aluko has played in the hard physicality of both the EPL and the championship and excelled even with carpenters all around him. Consider both players, from an individual perspective not just team set up. How well will Iwobi perform in a kick and rush team with less emphasis on connective passing is open to debate. In this regard Aluko has done it seen it and passed the exam. What I am saying it's easy to look skillful and knit and thread your passes in an Arsenal team. So judge the individual not just the settings in which he strives to perform. I should have been more indepth in my meaning as opposed to being suggestive. The question should have been how would Iwobi perform in a blood and guts, brute strength football brawl That question has been largely answered from the comments made about him in the Senegal game. He simply went missing and couldn't cope with the physicality. A warning about what we can expect from Cameroon but only a lot more as there is so much more at stake. In this regard considering who we have in the team Success and Ogu could prove essential as our options are limited. |

ChrisKels: If this is true they are not the best options amongst Nigerian origin players that we have. At least 15 Nigerian origin players ahead of the duo of Maja and Eze. Aina true class. |

Our football administrators should try set their priority right. They should stop this unnecessary call ups. How many times have they given our local talented players special offer to train with the super eagles. As regard players of Naija root in England, my choice will surely be Odubajo & Abraham as long as they are willing & ready. These two are the only quality that can add bite to the team for now. |

Ebuehi senior ‘proud’ son has committed to Nigeria Marvin Ebuehi has spoken to thenff.com of his joy that first son Tyronne Ebuehi has finally committed to Nigeria after the misunderstanding that trailed his first call-up by fatherland. “I must confess to you that I am glad that he has finally committed to Nigeria. I am very proud as a father. The first call –up, there was a misunderstanding and things went the way they did, unfortunately. “I apologize for that misunderstanding. I have always said that he would have to play for Nigeria at senior level, because I am proud of my country,” said the Edo State –born father of three. Ebuehi, an Amsterdam –based businessman was at the Super Eagles’ Crowne Plaza London Ealing hotel on Saturday with Dutch wife, Toos and a couple of in-laws. “Tyronne has always been crazy about football from an early age. I put him in an academy at the age of six and I’m not surprised that he’s on the way to living his dream.” Tyronne’s sister Tyvanne is a UK –based model and brother Trevin is a student in Holland. “I am praying that Tyronne fulfills his ambition of playing for a big club in Europe, and also become an important player for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.” |
