Aina can not play for Nigeria yet but his training with the team suggest that he is interested in playing and offers Rohr a chance to see him up-close. Ebuehi can play left back and right back. Aina can also play both wings. It helps to have more options

Link to full game...(very very clear with commentary sef but no replays) Nigeria vs Senegal... courtesy of the NFF...

wonder why they can't just give us the highlights.... sad

https://player.vimeo.com/video/209998668

note: if it doesn't work.... then access it thru the @NGSuperEagles twitter handle... click on it and view with a string browser like UC browser.... been enjoying the game like this.

Modified***

I successfully downloaded it thru same Link using my UC browser.... it is now on my laptop... will watch the match more critically later on.... at least for future references on discussions on our Eagles.

Hehehehe! I don watch the match and I can give a sane judgment.

Michael2 can you now understand the problem of the team after watching the match and listening to the commentator?

I told you there was no harmony and cohesion due to the inability of the players to spring a simple pass.

You said John Ogu brought stability but how come the Senegalese overran the midfield in the second half? grin

Let me drop my observations.

This team is not ready to play Cameroon with the way they played.

From the defense to the attack na wark.

Let me start with the the keeper, he is not qualified to be a member of the Super Eagles. Very poor in positioning himself during set pieces though possess sharp reflexes.

Leon Balogun lacks fitness and confidence. We need to start thinking of a better replacement in case he doesn't improve.

Troost Ekong got talent but in this game, he was below average. Very guilty of giving away the ball when pressed.

Rohr needs to school these defenders on how to soak pressure and control the game from the back.

Omeruo fumbled as a right back. He should be left alone to manage the defense or DMF.

Echiejile needs a good deputy.

We should be looking out for a equally good or better replacement for Ndidi because he will become the target of vultures in a very important match. I remember what Italy and France did to us. We should not allow that repeat itself again.

The boy is obviously very very good. That's why I want Shehu Abdullahi out of the team. We don't need players that can't add value to the team.

Raheem Lawal should be drafted in place of him.

John Ogu is good for the team.

Onazi is a leader and equally good for the team.

Alex Iwobi shouldn't be giving automatic shirt, he is not taking his career seriously.

How can we be relying on such inconsistent player?

He needs someone to challenge his position to make em head correct.

Iheanacho is not a striker, he is SS but from what I am seeing, Manchester City has destroyed his ability to give a through pass. Now, he is even missing tap in. Geees! He needs to move out from that club else.....

Simon Moses will play under Rohr because he played many roles in the match. He can play as a midfielder, winger and SS. And contributed alot to the defense.

Ahmed Musa.... I just don't know what to say about him.

Isaac Success didn't really impressed me as many people exaggerated here but he is needed for such kind of game.

Etebo na fine player. He is good for a CMF.

Kayode was played out of position. He didn't miss any chance as speculated. I didn't notice him until he gave Iheanacho the pass that led to the penalty.

I agree with many of your judgements. Reason why we should not make judgements just off online reports.

However, I think Success would have done more if he had more time.

Ndidi stood out! Ogu, to me is not a starting material -- yet.

I think we actually felt Onazi's departure. And indeed, we did miss Mikel in this game.

Iheanacho scored our own goal, but who could have easily been named along the flops if not for that penalty -- owing to the chances he missed.

Our entire defense line need more competition. Can we have Mikel Agu now tested?

Precisely. The discussion was who is more needed in the Super Eagles, not Tottenham. Alli or Mikel. Clearly it is Mikel because he has the ability to make the team play better and he creates loads of chances for the forwards.

What a team needs is a champion.

Our football administrators should try set their priority right. They should stop this unnecessary call ups. How many times have they given our local talented players special offer to train with the super eagles. As regard players of Naija root in England, my choice will surely be Odubajo & Abraham as long as they are willing & ready. These two are the only quality that can add bite to the team for now.

Oga take a chill pill. There is no harm in bringing those kids to camp, after all, the camping is more or less inconsequential but we are trynna make good use of it by killing two birds wt an arrow. Just give the kids sense of belonging so that in the future they won't have to haggle before considering to pitch there tents here. Dats wot we call catch dem young as long as they are talented.

Do u think capping Ejaria will be as hard as it would with a player like Ojo? The simple reason and trick is that sense of want when they were still a nobody.

Besides, Aina is ripe for Eagles.

We keep fumbling when it comes to selecting the kind of goalkeepers we can really bank on for the national team. That's how Keshi continued to use that short keeper, Agbim even when we had the best hands in Nigeria.
Now we have a good keeper which everyone had seen his performance at the olympics, Emmanuel Daniel, yet we are still forcing ourselves on a shaky and jittery Akpeyi. This is the same guy, Daniel completely benched at the olympics.
What is a short Ezenwa doing at the super eagles team when we have a tall, confident and agile Emmanuel Daniel? At the olympics, I saw Emmanuel in the moulds of Patrick okala and Peter Rufai. Most countries like to use taller keepers because most players talk about how they dread them. Someone may say Enyeama is not tall and intimidating but Enyeama is quite exceptional with his skill and that's what Ezenwa lacks. I'm happy Emmanuel Daniel has now moved to a foreign club, it's now time to really look his way. The 3 keepers i will recommend for super eagles are
1. Carl Ikeme
2. Emmanuel Daniel
3. Daniel Akpeyi.
