The company should get you your tax certificate.

Better still use pension stuff like others have used.

Draw the assessment officer's attention to this provision of the EA MSA booklet. Some guys here (I'm aware of two cases on this thread) did same.
Thanks, I will do just that.

OzyMigrant:

I never knew they check salaries against industry rate. Is there a way you can create a narrative that your experience in that company is internship (i don't know if there a limit to the number of internship years though)

Like in my case; In left NYSC in 2011 and started work immediately, meanwhile I did MSc between 2013-2014 (so I took a gap year from work as I had to travel out). Fast-forward to 2016, my total experience was around 4 yrs and I needed 5yrs to claim 10pt.

What did I do? I added my NYSC experience and called it internship and EA counted it as part of my experience making it 5yrs+.

I believe a lot depends on your app package and the assessor. Thanks for the insight.

To All
Am just curious about the possibility of engineering technologist remaining on sol come July wouldn't want to go with that and it then gets removed because the ceiling has already been reached this year. In a Delima!!!

Not just you. its a risk and the truth is that if it remains on the queue, it will favor the earlier EOIs on the queue come July

God is great!!!

It's my turn to testify........

So i received the grant letter for myself, wifey and son this morning 5.41 am. cant express the feeling
We decided we will be migrating to Canada in August last year and booked the IELTS exam for the 10th of October 2016. In September while going through the Canadian thread I came across this thread and we eventually decided to give both a shot. by end of September wifey and I somehow agreed Aussie will be better, so we jettisoned Canada. Every information was gotten on this thread, in fact I only got to know of expat forum through this place. Everyone here is wonderful, the Chief Bellong (I know you said we should not, but you are a blessing to everyone of us), every other person that has made it a point of duty to give information here I salute you all and say a big God bless you. I pray deeply this morning that all our testimonies will come soon in Jesus name.
So here is my timeline;

Oct 10 2106- IELTS for self and wife
Self L8 S7 W7 R7
Wife L7 S6.6 W6 R6.5
Nov 17 EA Ass submitted- Fast track
Dec 7 2016 EA+Ve outcome Electrical Engineering Draftperson
Lodged EOI 189- 60points 190 NSW & Vic 65points on 7th Dec (Age-30 Eng-10, Qual-10, Exp-10)
Lost 5 points due to age on the 17th Dec 2016
PTE 12 Dec 16 S80 L77 R71 W76
PTE 28 Dec 16 S70 L77 R73 W83
PTE 13 Jan 17 S70 L76 R72 W82
Jan 28- Victoria rejection Mail
Wifey's ACS Ass +Ve 16 Feb 17
Updated Skillselect 60points for 189 16 Feb 2017 (Age-25, Eng 10, Qual-10, Exp-10, Partner Skills-5)
ITA 1st March 2017
Visa Lodge 2nd March 2017
20th March CO Contact- Polio Certificate for 3 of us(though already uploaded)- re uploaded and pressed IP button.
31st March 2017- Grant

It's been a great journey, the same day my EA outcome landed, there was invite, couldn't meet up,it was frustrating. Just yesterday i was reading Jamson's post, we got EA outcome on the same day.

But God did it!!!

Thanks Zany, but am currently in Sydney though MSA clearly states pension can suffice and i submitted both pension docs and bank statement.

Same happened to us. Just quote the part of the MSA booklet that states Retirement Contribution OR Tax.

Explain the MSA booklet states 'OR' and not 'AND' and you'll get your outcome in no time.

Hello House, top of the morning to all. So I have received NSW invitation to apply for state nomination.
If you are not claiming points for work experience, I think you dont need to.
Let more knowledgeable folks answer to this.
Congrats still

Hello House, top of the morning to all. So I have received NSW invitation to apply for state nomination. My question is this, since Vetassess gave me only 2.8 years of work experience which amounts to 0 point, do I still need to upload work experience evidence documents in my application?

Thank you all and God bless..
You only need to submit documents to prove the points you are claiming. Since you are not claiming points for work experience, you dont need those documents. But i think you need to submit your CV. Check their website for better info.
