Harden just draws fouls in regular season come playoff time they won't reward him.

Oga forget draws fouls. This is not entirely on even Harden give me a break. Harden tripped himself, replays immediately showed it such that the spectators in the game drew ooohs and aahhs because nobody fouled Harden. Capela or Lou drives to the basket for a layup they get bumped a little and refs give the and 1. Fine.

Draymond Green and Steph take turns to go to the rim for a layup. If the layup is made there is barely ever any and 1. Couple of times you could hear the swat on McGee's hand when he is fouled but no and 1.

I don't even want to mention FT disparities in outrageous proportions like 39-16 against Houston and then 20+ to 10+ against Spurs. How come one team is beating you silly and scoring more points in the paint but somehow you are getting a ton more free throws than them?

Without that huge disparity in the FTs last time against Houston there is no way that game gets close at all. They shot badly and had incredibly shameful shooting numbers at the 3 (their niche) yet almost leveled the game through only FTs.

If you are going to give the same foul to Houston then give it to GSW so we know you are balanced.

GSW commentators you said? I am referring to Clyde Drexler when Houston lost at home. A couple of times he would laugh during the replay and say he did not see any foul on Capela or Néné. The GSW commentator said "Harden trips himself but these are the type of calls that go your way when you are in the MVP conversation".

Even though the bad officiating was more subtle yesterday, the last game against Houston was the worst I had seen all season. Quote me.

To be honest the Celtics are still unpredictable. If anyone would give Cavs trouble it should be Celtics or Wizards but

Wizards have been in free fall. They have lost the last 3 I think. Celts could be the team but they need 1 more star player either in defence or offense to help Diminutive Isiaiah as he cannot do it alone. Because of that, I know they may take 2 of their home games against Cavs if they met in the playoffs but I don't see Cavs losing past 2 games against them for now. But we can only speculate.

IGGOATDALA!!!! I hope his back stays in tact. It is clear he was not himself when Lebron blocked him in the finals following the spasms he had suffered in game 5 or so.

All this stuff are still down to human error not some conspiracy, the disparity exist because they drive to the basket more than you do simple.
When KD comes back everything go normalize because he gets calls too.

They did not drive to the basket more in that game oga. I don't know how often I have complained about this type of disparity this season since we played Toronto game 1 when they had 40 FTs. I was not even particular about Harden getting and Curry not getting any. It was a team issue. Houston players got suspiciously more fouls than GSW players in a game that was heavily one-sided without it.

You have said key words: if he can't stand Lebron, chances are, his views would be tainted against him. Same goes for Warriors. To be effectively unbiased, you have to hate or love both teams playing or else there would be some bias. For instance, he watched that game to see Harden "make a statement". How then would he accept that some of the refereeing mistakes were just too stoopid to make at this level especially when the accusation is incligned to making Harden "not make a statement"?

That first rockets game wasn't properly called and I said so after the match on this thread.
But to be making statement after every game like the league is out to get you? No way.
Check out how many free throw derozan shoots per game.
He probably shot half of the raptors free throw in the game you're referencing though I have no memory of it.

I see your point, but I was just calling the game on the go. At the end of the game the officiating was not as bad overall as it was the last game. But in real time, when I saw a conspicuously bad call I came here to comment. I wasn't necceassarily saying this game was as bad as the last one.

Anti-spam bot well-done oh..

Congrats to the Mississippi State women's for restoring some sanity and competition to the NCAA women's basketball. I witnessed one of the greatest upsets in sports history last night. Geno Auriemma and UCONN's 111 consecutive victory ended thanks to Morgan Williams game winning clutch shot. (I don't think Morgan is taller than Isaiah Thomas of my Celtics sef)

I think the title would be heading to South Carolina with Dawn Staley, the bulldogs have cleared the way for them. This is good for women's basketball, and even Auriemma knows this.

Hmmmm my Warrior friends, take it easy abeg.
If anything, i don't want Bron Bron to get his hands on a b2b ring, I'm more for KD getting one, dude deserves it as an icing to his great career.
And yeah, I may not have any team i'm entirely rooting for, I just love to watch the game and see guys mesmerize with their play. Guys like Harden, Westbrook, Isaiah Thomas, KD etc.
But that ref thang has become an old nursery rhyme which many here don't take serious anymore cos it's not only against the Warriors that fouls don't get called.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:47pm On Apr 01, 2017
But you Warriors sef, na overfeeding dey worry all of you. You have 4 All stars, are more likely to keep homecourt and are the team to beat yet you complain of small small things like niggly fouls that don't get called in a blow out game. make una fear god fa.
See how quiet the Cavs have been on this page over the past few weeks, even with their reinforcement, they still look like a team that can fall to the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs grin grin grin.
Messi gets kicked more than anyother player yet Barca doesn't bother about free kicks not given cos somehow somehow, them go still win.
You guys should do big boys small, at present, the Warriors aren't mates with any other team in the league.

Naaah, the foul calls are not just about Harden or that Houston got a lot of them. It is that the exact/same foul calls don't get called for GSW.

You have to realize that each time a player shoots a FT someone on the opposing team is racking up fouls. That is why we complain.

Against Houston at Houston Harden got his first foul 5 mins towards the end of the 4th quarter yet Curry had 4 fouls by then. If you compare the fouls Harden got to the one's that went uncalled for Curry, you would get the big picture.

Besides that, some comments are not a holistic representation of the game but spot-on comments. Case in point, my first comment on fouls yesterday was for a call when Harden clearly tripped himself and got 2 FTs when replays clearly showed no one touched him. Few mins later Draymond was bumped enroute to a layup and you could hear the crickets chirping on the side of the refs. That's not just poor refereeing, it seems bias whether or not Harden knows how to draw fouls or not.

So stop making it about Harden. I can list like 3 instances in the first half of yesterday's game.

I wish like Sircumalot, you complained after the Houston game at Houston. That way, I would have been sure GSW fans are not just whiny.

Anyways, I get your point.

I think the Thunders' supporting cast have let Westbrook down. With his consistency, they should sit firmly in 4th place by now.
With 40TDs and counting, there is little more we can ask of him.

I dey here ohhh..I am just hoping the quest to finish first in the conference does not distract or become overwhelming for the team when the playoff's commences.

I listened to Isaiah's interview after the game and how Brad is trying to underplay the quest for the top but the players are excited about the prospect. That was the easiest game of the season for us, the Knicks were without Rose (Done for the season) and Melo (back).

The Cavs host the Pacers in few minutes before the Cavs and the Celtics clash on Wednesday, which is the game to watch, not necessarily because its the battle for the top but more importantly for the Celtics, it would weigh their preparedness for play off atmosphere.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 12:12am On Apr 03, 2017
I am fully in support of the Celtics at this point. I would even go out on a limb and hope they beat Cavs on Wednesday. I think Cavs are finding their rhythm and may beat Indiana Pacers today. I need Celtics to have that home court advantage if they get to play Cavs in the ECF.

Let me not jump the gun. By Wednesday/Thursday, one can guage how far they have come.

Once he gets a triple double his teammates become the fault for a loss? I thought the TDs were so important because his team won almost every time he had it?

Russell can play (I can not tire to say it) but the fact remains that he plays for his stats perhaps a tad too much than his hunger for his team to pick the W. I know it sounds crazy but now that they are money for the playoffs that became his ambition.

Will he win MVP? He sure does have his many supporters and admirers even on this thread but if he was to get it, I think the NBA will share it with Harden and they would do so only because of the TDs (which makes no sense to me).

But if I had my way, if Boston head the east then they have no reason not to give it to Isaiah Thomas especially when Isaiah does not get a ton of his buckets through FTs.

LOL Curry has found his range. Teams are dead.

John Wall is like Usain Bolts. Dude is too quick.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:31am On Apr 03, 2017
Sometimes one feels KD doesn't even need to return. Then McCaw starts playing his hesitation rubbish and Zaza can't jump beyond 1 inch. Then I realise 2 aspects that KD would have been destroying teams in.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:41am On Apr 03, 2017
Cavs down 2, 31 secs to go in OT.

Hope they lose grin

Edit: they win.

Edit again: another OT.

What a game.

Update: Cavs up by 5, 16 secs to go. They are going to win now.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:09am On Apr 03, 2017
Curry in MVP mode. John Wall the only top PG to really bring it against GSW in this "Toaster era" well apart from Conley.

299 Threes for Curry in this "bad shooting year".

I stand by my words. Regular season record does not really mean much. The NBA title belongs to the team with 16 post season wins. So, Don't write off the Spurs and Rockets too soon. Last year win by the Cavs shows anything can happen in NBA.
