TheSuperNerd: @bolded. Owngoalnigeria can be such junk journalism. Where did they get the survey that most Nigerians want home-based players? People want the best players for the Eagles, not home-based for home-based sake. |

This Guardiola guy is not as good as people think, this is the first time he will be competing in a proper league without a magician (like Messi) in his team. Sport writers should stop blaming city players abeg... Conte also inherited a shitty Chelsea team na, a team that finished 10th last season!! This same city team played in the Champions League semis last season, but the team is now useless all thanks to Guardiola and his useless drills and complicated "tactics" 1 Like |

tbaba1234: Victor Okechukwu Agali! our one time 'New Yekini'. I love that pitch at the background sha. If an NNL game can have such quality pitch then i give a big ups to the LMC. |

Icon4s: Point of Correction. The LMC is only in charge of NPFL nd not NNL |

Hanibal: You are forgetting that it took Manchester City the last game of last season to qualify for the Champions League Group playoffs. You also did not remember that we played the Champions League playoff games to qualify for the Champions League. We were already a team in decline and Guardiola so far has performed well. Anyone who does not watch City closely can come up with what your writing there. But an insightful person who is following the team closely will see immense development. Football is not linear. It is dynamic. The fruits of Guardiola’s work will show in the coming years. His transformation of Sterling and Stones is enough to tell the impact of Guardiola. Aguero showing tremendous improvement in his work rate and defending is another. The team holds the ball with brilliant abilities. Considering that most of the players are new to the art of the game is brilliant. How many teams in the EPL can create as much chances as City did against Chelsea in the last game? |

Humility017: No! They are indeed exceptional. Didn't you see Ali goal and assist yesterday? It was awesome. Dele Alli is a better player than Iheanacho. It's the plain truth. Besides, Eto and Drogba are not British or European but you na. Iheanacho should leave City. The coach body odour sorry body language suggest he doesn't need Iheanacho and he is wanted out. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: De Bryn is too overrated please. He's a good player but not exactly as good as he's been made out to be. I will take Dele Alli over him in a heart beat without remorse. Ali will walk into the starting line-up of 95% of Europe's top clubs let alone city. 1 Like |

forgiveness: People calling for Odey are jst doing so on the sentiments that "we must have local players in the Super Eagles". In fact Salisu in particular has really earned my respect. Even though he has been in the local scene for long he does not carry the same sentiments all those other local coaches carry else Him for don flood the Super Eagles with 'HIS KANO PILLARS BOYS'. if the NFF choses for whatsoever reason not to renew Rohr's contract. I would personally recommend Salisu. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 9:21am On Apr 06, 2017 |
goldfish80: See, Rohr does nt have to visit every match venue or watch all MFM and Ikorodu United games. He has assistant coaches who can do so. Secondly kickoff time for NPFL games is usually 4pm and that is when a whole lot of league games in Europe would in be on course. That is where almost the entirety of the Super Eagles play and u want him to spend that prime time watching one Ikorodu united vs Wikki Tourist? Haba! 1 Like |
