Most likely, the ceiling will end in April and resume at 65 points in July. I advice you just take pte, since you aim for a high score. But if you believe your ielts can go from 6.5 to 8, you can remark. Compare factors like cost, time, possible outcome, before deciding.
Btw, you be real monitoring spirit.

Lool, thanks bro for this response... I've resolved to remark my IELTS. Now I'm beginning to feel like i should have done my EA assessment for Electrical Engineer and not Electronics Engineer.

EngrEngr,, see, try every test in existence to get 20 points before the end of April o.. That ceiling will close in May...

Thanks Bnimz, Its almost impossible to have time this April because Its a tight month for me with lots of other activities.. May is a free month.

Thanks alot! I will have to check the CSOL again. Please, in the name of God, if there's anyone that has passed through this PR with Bsc in Public administration. Help a brother so I know the occupation you selected.

WOW! What can I say? I really appreciate the response. We will all testify on this forum. I am more suited for ICT security analyst but to increase my chances, i will go for system analyst.

This forum is da bomb!

Alphadoor:

while am awaiting my ACS assessment outcome (stage 4b "in progress" cry, i can freely tell you that ACS guide is very clear and for you to ensure your application is "decision ready",... download their ANZSCO CODE GUIDE as it contains subjects and job descriptions for each ACS assessed occupation.

see my analysis below

SYSTEM ANALYST 261112: 189: is on the pro-rata list, meaning high points (65+) required and waiting time for ITA is currently High. see table below

ICT security specialist 262112: 190: requires State Nomination and its currently nominated by only Southern Australia with 70+ points

like someone once told me in this thread, ICT occupations are a bit fluid and are closely related. Choose anyone you can easily defend with your documents.......AUD500 no be beans ooo grin grin

I just went through Vetassess website I found this about Human Resource Adviser. And the occupation is skill assessment Criteria Group B in Vetassess website.

From the site it's quotes "if the Degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a Highly relevant field.

A positive assessment Of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive skills Assessment outcome.

Can I use my Msc in Human Resource to be able to reduce the expected relevant 5years of experience to 2years since my bsc in public Administration may not be regarded as relevant to the nominated occupation to be able to get a positive outcome? I have 3years plus working experience in the HR department of my office(federal govt ministry). Please other gurus help a brother as it looks like am in a tight corner.
