Obj really fall hands

Obasanjo had to let it go because france was ready to move in fully after the court handed it over to Cameroon.

Besides, why fight over a gallon of oil when you have several tanks of the same oil?

Obasanjo made the best decision.

read my post and comprehend... Don't be unnessary silly.
So let me get what you're saying.....the Nigerian navy would rather spend millions on refitting your OPVs than just buying corvettes for basically the same price as what it would cost to refit?

Obviously its you who didn't properly comprehend my post.......let me just remind you again " 70% of cost is for software development and integration" It doesnt matter if the NN could do it or not.......its about cost!

P.S I quoted you on this post: So don't come here on your high horse claiming i didn't comprehend your post:

lionel4power:
theres CLEARLY enough room amidship to mount a missile launcher also look at the hanger deck its barely used.

Personally I believed the NN didn't arm the vessel for unknown reasons but left the space available just in case

Am sure you didn't read this my post right

Why would he? Since you wrote this one?

lionel4power:
I recall but as long as there is an above-deck you can put tube-launched missiles with minimum deck penetration. although integrating a vertical launched system is practically impossible since there isn't sufficient fore-deck space.

Nigerian navy has otomat anti ship missiles which can easily be mounted on the deck aft of the bridge (amidship). SAM system can be mounted above the hanger.

At least you people should post African military photos or videos with some of these irrelevant arguments instead of constantly arguing over nothing.

The fact remains that the Nigerian navy can arm the ships with missiles if the service so desires. This have proven time and again and not up for an argument. If the service wants to is a totally different debate.

You cannot be constantly arguing and contributing nothing to the thread while others are posting pictures.

You always had a bias towards the SBS, still do apparently. I remember you saying that Navy SBS only trust their comrade and never liked working with members of the army or so the argument went.

We hopefully should be able to see the documentary before June.

The guy who shot the movie "76", is the one handling the job. So I expect the documentary would be great.

They were trained for a armed conflict with Nigeria during the bakasi Peninsula crisis but still lack the strength. Till date they still fear Nigerian military and Chad still has deadlier force than Cameroon.

The entire Cameroonian armed forces is less than 15,000 personnel. I believe the BIR should be around 1000 troops and that is the only force that makes sense in Cameroon.

Now you are trying to force to say what am about to say.

Boko haram released a video this month on how the attack Cameroonian BIR base in Cameroon along Nigerian border. The bottom line is that they fled leaving behind many arms and belongings. It is a normal thing to retreat when under heavy fire and return to take over.

From the look of things Nigerian army haven't done badly at all in the fight against boko haram. The whole world is actually commending them.

Since the Bakassi decision, Nigeria has discovered other oil fields of the Continental shelf of the dahomey basin and one in the Bayelsea which conservatively judging by seismic results is estimated at between 500milllion to 1Billion.
