sapiosexual1: Pundits I agreed with Nash in terms of his assessment of both players. I don't believe he selected who the MVP will be. I did not discard Oscar's assessment either. Only that his choice of MVP was questionable due to the reason he proferred. Reason being TD. 1 Like 1 Share |

Donlittle:I actually mean the contention for home court in the East is wide open. I had initially written the Celtics off but with the Cavs choking on their own vomit and James likely to rest, anything can happen. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:51am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Donlittle:Everything is based on belief but you are right. Cavs should breeze through ordinarily but they have lost 30 games. 30! Someone in that East just needs to Believe they can beat Cleveland come playoff time. Do you recall 2011 playoffs? The Lakers were even stronger than this Cavs team but guess what? The Mavs swept them. The Cavs ain't relinquishing the crown. Someone has to take it by force and looking at the Cavs this year its the perfect storm. Lebron's minutes would catch up with him at some point |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:52am On Apr 10, 2017 |
A40:The warriors choked, and I haven't forgiven those guys. The joy I get when Lebron losses, that last year finals men, I don't even trust the warriors this year. They might still choke again. So I am not shouting till someone other than the cavs get the trophy |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:56am On Apr 10, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:lol bro, if you can actually see my old posts, I have always attacked Russell and his style of play. But after everything that wen't on last year, with that guy taking his talents to |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:04am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Donlittle:Exactly!! KD is also more reason he'll get more pity votes. I'll just make two of them co-MVPs cos Harden elevated his game and most importantly made his teammates better. It'll just weaken me if you guys start to blame Oladipo, Steve Adams and Kanter if they exit first round come playoff cos those guys have got great potentials to ball but we don't see them with the ball too often. This would matter during the playoffs. I hope Russell, his team and the coaching staffs can focus on going deeper in part season cos just like pundits, I didn't expect Eric Gordon, Beverly, Capella to better Oladipo and Adams Roberson. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:08am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Donlittle:I agree with you. Couldn't agree less. Na by June every every go show. I just hope someone wouldn't come up to say the voting was influenced by the TDs, ofcus it would . And if Harden gets the MVP, he too would deserve it alright. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:12am On Apr 10, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:Oga me I don't buy this your pity votes thang ooo , ahn ahn, you wan tell me say from your church mind Westbrook hasn't done enough to win it on merit? You na wa 1 Like |

Donlittle:Naa I think the Warriors have learned their lesson. They are humbler now and going about their business a lot more quietly this year. They have lost just 14 games this year and yet no one is even talking about them. Their performance without KD really impressed me. If they get out that West I'd put my money on them beating the Cavs |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:26am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Harden just had 35/11/15 but it won't count because he did not fight in the 4th quarter to help his team win by 1 point. He was busy blowing out Sacramento in the first quarter. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:29am On Apr 10, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:I must chip that in for non-OKC fans cos He mentioned KD leaving OKC (Great story BTW) Now just today but you can see my comments also means Westbrook deserves the award. Our disagreement here is cos some of us counts the Wins, the team's development and the some the numbers. I would 100% give Westbrook and forgot Harden if he had more Wins. Cos I don't believe Harden has better teammates. We all didn't say he did before the season started until now when they've showed up and many are leaning towards numbers. They both deserve it |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:37am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Personally, I am of the opinion that Centers/PFs should leave those types of rebounds for the playmakers, move up the court and continue with the game. This right here is something else Isaiah Thomas, Curry, Schroeder, Kyrie, John Wall, Lowry should start hustling for rebounds against 7fts cos another PG started out rebounding his Centers for TDs. I'm just waiting for playoffs for any desperate PGs to start that shît. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:44am On Apr 10, 2017 |
SmooshCHN: When he can run out during the fast break and catch the pass for an easy deuce. Next thing you would see now is stats about how Westbrook is faster than a pass. He is number 1 in uncontested rebounds and 64 in contested rebounds. Even when he does not get 10+ rebounds in a game his team still wins as much as long as he gets a double double. That's why I insist those triple doubles are overrated. His team would have won the same number of games with his double double as with his TDs. |

Another WB game winner . It is over for harden and kawhi. This Cavs "L" don't even surprise me anymore, make the post season. |

Houston Vs OKC is almost here |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 2:46am On Apr 10, 2017 |
A40: Lol. The reason we blew the lead was cauae Whenever the camera keep going to Lue's face in the 4th, i always wished someone would accidentally throw a ball to his face. Its was obvious the refs killed us but Lue allowed it. How can sit there like and watch turnovers after turnovers and also took him long to make rotation in the 4th. Our last year's champ win was with LeBron taking over the team, not like we had a good coach. When your players are not in sync, you call a time out and make adjustments. This guy just sits there with his mouth open doing nothing. He has no offensive or defensive system. That's why when he sits Lebron, the team doesn't function properly. He is an aweful coach with a talented team in the league. Don't compare this to Warriors,Psg and patriot lead, you think we will blow a 26pts lead when it matters. Lue's rotation in the 4th were just too bad. 1 Like |

SIRcumalot: Lol. This Hawks game was just like a plan work. I believe we would see the real Cavs team on the screen when its p/offs |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 3:03am On Apr 10, 2017 |
lolawilliams:It is about what will likely happen if they make the finals. |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 3:17am On Apr 10, 2017 |
A40: The conversation about the “best in the West” tends to revolve around Warriors and Spurs, the Rockets have lso made a resurgence this year. Sweetest thing that will happen is if Blazers can perform a magic in the first round He came to Oakland in order to team up with Curry , Klay and Green. Even LeBron ddnt get the ring in his first season in Miami. KD won't get it in his first season, Yess he wont. He'll get attacked by the media just as they've always did to Melo Warriors is far from a playoffs team, its a champ team but i dont want an easy ring for KD. the delusion that surrounds a ring is unreal, that"s why i don't want him to win it easily. |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 3:24am On Apr 10, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: 'If they' should be 'when they' Eastern teams are like some cheap taco bell. Cant believe our losses still puts us in the first position. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 3:41am On Apr 10, 2017 |
lolawilliams:It will remain "if" until I see them in the 2nd round. Bron won't run roughshod over the east forever it will happen one season and it may just be this one. Am saying it again "no two teams have faced each other consecutively three times in an NBA final". This is probably the equivalent of the "UCL curse" in the NBA |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:45am On Apr 10, 2017 |
lolawilliams:you don't want him to win it easily? labron had one of the easiest path to the ring ever in miami, for a supposed GOAT. anyways, what do i know RUSSELL FOR MVP |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:42am On Apr 10, 2017 |
This is just one reason why I don't want James getting his hands on another ring, dude is just a cry baby. Imagine him saying the refs killed the game, and Lola even echoing same sentiments. Like WTF? Where his arse at when the hawks erased a 26 point deficit before he fouled out in OT? Dude is just annoying. Thankgod bball refs no dey send anybody unlike soccer, else I would resign to fate that LeWhine would influence their decision making in the playoffs. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:47am On Apr 10, 2017 |
I also want to add that if we watch OkC games ehn, you would understand why a 6"7 gets so many rebounds uncontested. Have you asked yourself why the rebounds are uncontested? OkC are one of the most dangerous attacking teams in transition when Westbrook pulls down a defensive rebound. Opposing numbers are more interested in defending their rim cos they know OkC would get a point in transition. Take some time to watch the clips abeg. Or haven't you wondered why he has more contested offensive rebounds than defensive? 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 7:52am On Apr 10, 2017 |
SIRcumalot: Years of running the weak East as they say. No two teams have faced eachother 3 consecutive time. It's either it happens this time around or it gets messy over in the west. I thought Pelicans would clinch the 8th spot and do some little stunt. But Blazers, Blazers its a sweep |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 8:08am On Apr 10, 2017 |
Donlittle: It was after his two rings the comparison btw him and the GOAT started. He lost in two finals before winning it. I just don't want KD to win it yet, Melo deserves it better than him. Lol Harden has said he though the MVP is about winning. so let's give it to Kawhi. The difference between Steph and Harden 2 seasons ago in MVP race? Better record wasn't it. I still believe Curry last season perfomance was the best ive seen in this decade. but Westbrook perfomance is one in a lifetime, i hope he gets it |
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 8:22am On Apr 10, 2017 |
sapiosexual1: Lol. Even Hawks fans know the refs helped them. Even with blowing 26 point lead Cavs could've still won if the right calls were been made. You really want KD to get a ring just like that. I hope it doesn't happen yet

lolawilliams: Aswear! That's the only explanation I can think of regarding that game. I feel T.Lue is trying to avoid Miami heat in the first round of the playoffs. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 8:47am On Apr 10, 2017 |
lolawilliams:blazers even with the nurkic injury ? you just wan whine this warriors fans . |

Muna15:why play bron, Kyrie who has some injury scare and love that many minutes ? |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 8:51am On Apr 10, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:we know all these, harden should still be the front runner. |
