We hopefully should be able to see the documentary before June.

The guy who shot the movie "76", is the one handling the job. So I expect the documentary would be great.
what guy, Izu ojukwu?

I think the Nigerian Army rigged a locally built mine clearing device to the MRAP. Some thing similar to this.

not exactly IED , it is a mine clearing trawl designed to clear pressure activated mines and IEDs

just saying AFAIK a purpose built IED clearing contraption would have to able to clear all kinds of IEDS , pressure activated, remote controlled , low magnetic signature IEDs etc

that is come equipped with multiple radio set pre-initiator (MRPI) to counter RCIED as well as jammers for producing white noise.

also special IED detecting equipments for both metallic (including IEDs with primary and secondary sets, not to mention cascade IEDs ) and non metallic IEDs (low magnetic signature)

I believe this is locally made. I think that's the rational behind the many cameras to do the christening. The first deployment I presume.

grin grin grin grin you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes or his Nigerian equivalent to figure that out.

I kinda find it quite confusing that, usually at big ticket events like these, there are usually multimedia cameras, but in terms of visuals back to residents at home, the results from these multimedia tools become almost non-existent. undecided undecided

OFF TOPIC:

The most expensive warship ever built has been put through its paces for the very first time.
The US Navy revealed Saturday the first of its new class of the USS Gerald R. Ford has headed out to sea off the coast of Virginia.
The new aircraft carrier embarked on the first of its sea trials to test various state-of-the-art systems.
The $12.9 billion carrier departed from Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding in Newport News after more than a year's delay and cost overruns.

From Denel: The rear-mounted detection suite is motivated by operational
experience proving the inefficiency of any forward mounting
of the sensors. The MPV protects the crew against any injury/
death in the event of a mine blast – and any damage to the
vehicle can be quickly/economically repaired
