Or is he the current heart beat of the Super Eagles as terzurum5 made it sound?

Infact, I was even liberal enough to say 'future heart'. It should be POTENTIAL future heart beat.

No automatic shirt for any player.

I sanction the Germany move, not Celtic.

TheSuperNerd:
Hot In Demand Celtic Target Onyekuru Coy On Borussia Monchengladbach Links As Liverpool Withdraws Interest

The future of Eupen Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru will be decided by his club and advisers according to the player in an exclusive interview with Owngoalnigeria.com.

A failed target for Scottish side Celtic during the January transfer window, he is also high on the priority list of Russian side CSKA Moscow as exclusively reported by this portal last year.

However, we gathered English Premier League giants Liverpool have pulled out from the race to sign the forward cum winger as manager Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen other areas of his team.

Onyekuru was asked by our correspondent if there’s substance to talks about a move to Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, and the 19 year old who has 14 goals in the league this summer failed to deny or confirm the rumours.

”Summer is around the corner, so no need to confirm or deny any story. For now my goal is to help Eupen achieve their goals this season via the play-offs. I’ve heard about interest from Germany but it’s not for me to speak or decide”, Onyekuru said.

”My club and my advisers will decide on the best offer for me, if am to leave Eupen in the summer. For now I am fully settled here but you never know. Things can change quickly especially in football”.

Organizers can't rate their own players or give them chances in the Super eagles. This is what i mean by raising profile. What is wrong with Rohr just giving the best a chance. We are not asking for the whole league but when a player has more goals than any Nigerian in the world at the least more good words should be said. It sounded like he was brushing Odey off and I don't like that one bit, he might be a coach but me i'm also not blind i can see the quality the boy has.
I wish I can give you a handshake.

League never end. Let the boy focus on the league. It's also good for his development. Let's not mount undue pressure on him. He will definitely get his chance. Make Rohr rest too.

Chief Icon4s... take am easy naa... small small naa.... grin

Let the lad begin his Wolfsburg journey as you have already said... I understand Sir Terzurum's excitement and I am sure you do too.... wink

We have seen the boy in action at U-23 level and we know what he brings to the table... but let him show again that he hasn't lost the lustre that makes him special...... wink

So yes he is a potential... but no ordinary potential Chief Icon4s.... wink I see him as Possibly Nigeria's next super striker if he keeps his head in the game and his feet well grounded....
And ofcos how beautiful to know he will have the likes of Stephen Odey, Sadiq Umar, Tammy Abraham (after the u-20 WC) and a few others to emerge strongly for super competition...

Hahaha u and joebie are right abt the comparison with Ronaldo.

Was Ronaldo the heart beat of The Samba boys team in that 1994 WC? He was only a POTENTIAL future heart beat with high expectations on him.
He later lived up those expectations. Just like how Osimhen MAY be a POTENTIAL heart beat at Russia 2018.

As we have high expectations on Osimhen let us start seeing him living up to those expectations.

It's Rohr's call as regards who trains with the team. He is the coach, dont forget that.. Why the criticisms? We have a winning team. The SE is not a platform to launch players, but that for proven players. For now Odey has to prove himself at CHAN. That's what the coach has said. Shikina.

There are a number of players who are not proven who have been invited to the SE. So why not Odey or are we having a European bias against Nigerian home based players.

If Keshi could invite Obaobona and Mba who were a credit to the team why not Odey.

No it's not an excuse. But why are you crying for his inclusion? is there really a cause for alarm? The SE is not in danger. And CHAN is not far away. The boy will get his chance anyway, so what really is the point?

That's Keshi. This is Rohr and what we have is a team that is winning. I'm confident Odey is so good that he will grab his chance with both hands when he gets it. But hey, we are making a case for the likes of Onyekuru, Kalu etc. They are players abroad who have not got their chance as well.

Hahaha u guys should know my dispisition about these young players by now.

But among the list of 'super competition' you failed to mention the 'Manchester City striker' (in Rohr's voice). And let me tease you small: u also did not include Ur one time Super striker - Taiwo Awoniyi.

Iheanacho won't be a 9 for us in the long run... I have always said that... he will revert to the 10 role and SS role in the Super Eagles shirt... so I didn't omit his name... wink

Well, Awoniyi is unfortunate... and i never termed him Nigeria's next super striker.... that has always been Osimhen's title.... smiley

I always include Awoniyi as one of our top striker prospects... and I still haven't given up on him....

And again.... Osimhen is not Awoniyi.... have Faith Chief Icon4s.... haba!!! you are allowing all the past debacles you have witnessed with exceptional young talents like Etim Esin, Osondu, etc plus the Eagles of the early to mid 2000s make you wary of this current generation and like I told you before.... I understand you... but you must have faith Sir... come on mehn! cheesy

Osimhen will have to prove he is better than Iheanacho in that CF position before we say we have to switch Iheanacho to an SS or AM. And you know what thay means: Osimhen has a lot to prove.

Except maybe u dnt expect Iheanacho to improve or mayb he loses form.

It is like you don't get it.... Iheanacho leaving that CF role is not about whether he loses form or not or improves.... He has already shown he can deliver in the role of a CF... hasn't he?

But in the Super Eagles shirt, Osimhen, Tammy, And the other out-and-out no.9s rising will be too good to ignore... and Nacho's talents as a lethal AMF will come Into play to make our attack even more lethal, more dangerous and super fluid....

We will need to structure our Eagles based on our maximal strengths and that will mean Nacho eventually playing off a "fantastic" main striker as an SS or playing in the hole as the AMF... or in a 4-3-3 as the R-AMF otherwise called RWF.

Of course there's no course for alarm. We are just demanding we promote our local content,if we don't promote our local content nobody will do that for us.
Stephen Odeh have been phenomenal this season, he has stood head and shoulders above everyone else, such a player should be packaged properly.

Am not even calling for Odeh to replace anyone but am of the opinion he should be in the mix of the bunch. If he can't get in the mix with the form he has shown then I can beat my chest that no human born of a woman playing in the NPFL will get a shot at the national team unless he scored 100 goals.

Odey has a higher rate but not higher number of goals as stated.

The Nigerian league is not on the same level as the Belgian or even the Danish league.

Sinama Pongolle is scoring tons of goals in Thailand's league at the moment but could not cut it in England, Spain, France or the MLS.

Relax Sir Goldfish.... another could pop up and throw in the argument of league quality too...... wink

I think Sir Tbaba just corrected one angle.... Sir Basco said Odey has scored more goals than any other Nigerian player so far this season and he just brought up a reminder on Henry and Onuahu....

So biko... relax... I want Odey in the team too... he's young, vibrant and very talented... he looks like the real deal...

I was the one who even made a call to the fact that he had actually beaten the record for most goals scored at this stage of the NPFL season in history...... but make we take am easy abeg... o obele obele... biko.... Odey is in the picture already...

Modified:
And just as I predicted.... someone did bring in the league quality card... wink
