There are 36 states in Nigeria and boko haram is only in 1 state currently, in the deep forests close to Cameroon and Chad. So, how is that unhandled.

To be fair, there is a huge disparity between the Nigerian South and North. The North despite ruling this country for most of its post-independence history is vastly more impoverished than the South and they drag us down. The North as an economy would rank behind Somalia if it were an independent country from the South of the country.
