Greetings, Please I want to ask for your advice. I am about to submit my documents for Canadian student visa application. I got admission in to Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec with funding to cover my tuition and my sponsor is in Canada who is my brother. I have my CAQ, admission letter reflecting my financial support for masters program in Industrial Engineering. I am about to add my dad landed documents and him writing letter of consent stating he's aware of my admission and my brother is the sponsor. Please should I notorize the documents, his id cards with the letter? 1 Like 2 Shares |

Please folks, Help clarify something. Please can someone confirm the proof of English test that needs to be submitted to Canadian Embassy as part of student visa application?? Cos all I see on their site is 1) Proof of acceptance 2) Proof of Identity 3) proof of financial support 4) letter of explanation Thanks |

Hello great people of the house ,I have been given an admission offer but my problem now is that my supposed sponsor is acting up the scenario looks like he is not ready to help.... My question now is if am to act as sponsor for my wife my closing balance is just about 3million can I go ahead with dat amount ?or I also have the opportunity of pleading with my boss at work to fill my wife in as part of thier workers and act as her sponsor would it work that way? |

StCruz247:Baba, Na help person help me ooo. My CGPA was not quite impressive, so I contacted some gurus here for advise, some told me to forget about Canada , while some encouraged me, especially one of them. He assisted me through almost everything, I sent him all my documents and information, he virtually applied for me .. Free of charge. But from my experience, I think a Statement of purpose, well structured CV, and some other information play a vital role in this admission process. And if it is a research Masters, securing a potential Supervisor is a big Plus I'm just being truthful to you, I don't really know, Na person assist me self. The ones I applied on my own, I didn't get it I no be guru oo, I worse pass you self.. Mehn I'm too happy Jare, my life don change today. 2 Likes |

westgermany:how much is her tuition fee? it will be better of u can convince ur boss to act as her sponsor while u act as co-sponsor, but he shouldn't use the company's name or account to sponsor her as that will need a very convincing letter of support from the company stating why they want to spend so much on ur wife (who is their staff ) and what will be the company's benefits when she graduates. try and convince him to act as her sponsor or better still pay some of the cash into her account to show commitment while u pay her tuition fee from ur account . that's what I think sha. gurus in the house, over to u |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by westgermany: 10:44pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
mcobex:thanks, her tuition is about 8,000canadia dollar.pls don't mind me am a bit confused that's why am thinking in the direction of placing my organization to sponsor her since their account runs in million and am sure to some extent that they would help me with every necessary documents I may require from account statement to refrence letter... Another question I will like to ask is that is it compulsory for applicant to pay tution fee before applying for visa? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by mcobex: 11:55pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
westgermany:it's not compulsory to pay tuition before applying but it gives the vo the assurance that u are capable (especially if it's a 3rd party that's paying the tuition). for the funds required it will be atleast cad18k (8k for tuition + cad10k living expenses ) and that's about #4.3mil (1cad=#240).... so in all u will need atleast #4mil for everything. u can ask ur boss to act as ur wife's sponsor or co-sponsor so as to reduce the financial load on u (since ur closing balance is #3mil) but he will have to give reasons why he wants to sponsor her (since they aren't related ) 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by mcobex: 11:59pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
westgermany:......seriously company sponsorship should be out of it as it might require the company paying her tuition fee (which we both know they won't pay), so to play safe is to convince ur boss to act as her sponsor and instead of him paying her tuition fee he can pay the said amount to her bank account while u show ur own commitment by paying her tuition fee (though this isn't compulsory) 1 Like |

I salute all the gurus in the house. Please who else got admission into University of Calgary for course-based masters? My offer letter only states that tuition is paid on per course basis and can be taken for a maximum of 6 years. Though I know the cost for each course taken..but the offer letter doesn't explicitly state the amount for my study. I contacted my Grad Advisor and he came up with just the same story - pay per course. He even stated that it's upon my arrival that I will discuss the courses I'm to offer based on my specialization. Now that apart, how will I state this in my visa application knowing fully well the VO wants to know what it will cost me per year of study? Please I need someone to help me out. |

hustla:Why won't dey give? We av alot of people given trv on this thread recently if u av bn following. D most recent approval as at yesterday is a PGD. It's not everyone here that qualifies for masters admission, they can't give up their dreams, pdg is most suitable for people with considerable work experience dey tends to get TRV easily compare to fresh graduates with no experience. My opinion sha with wot Have noticed. 2 Likes 1 Share |
