Have you also heard about Mambilla (Sardauna) in Taraba state? That LGA is the highest in West Africa and is as cold as Jos (if not colder). The hottest daytime temperature in Mambilla is 22-25°c, while nightime and morning goes as low as 15°c always all year round.
Heat does not exist in that entire LGA all year round.

Comparing SA to Nigeria is quite unfair because SA is over 100 yrs older than Nigeria. However, we equal them in human development and economic growth.

Kenya is not such a bad country, at least for a fairly populous black african country, they are not doing that bad. People like you feel Kenya is better than Nigeria probably because you don't understand the in and out of Kenya.
I myself used to think that Kenya is better than Nigeria, not until i discovered how they work. What Kenya does is that they go for the very best of quality infrastructure, human development and services only in a few selected parts of their cities/country/population and they leave a huge chunk of the remainder to rot away (to their fate). So by the time you end up seeing only their few developed parts, you conclude that they are better than Nigeria (which is not really true).
The way Nigeria works on the other hand is different! Our system more or less believes in even development of our people and even spread of rescources. We don't set world standards for only a tiny portion of our population/cities/states and abandon the rest to utter despondence or neglect. This is why we have a far higher percentage of urbanized, more socialized, enterprising, exposed and industrious population than Kenya or even East Africa combined (if not for core-northern Nigerians dragging us backwards).

Can't you detect contradictions in your own statements? You just negated the first bolded statement with your last. There is nothing like an even development when the northern half is worse than any East African country and possibly comparable to Somalia. Europe have always had lingua francas at different times. It was latin some few centuries ago, then it became french and now English.

Slums in Nairobi only constitute 5% of the land size all info are online... Slums can not be seen easly in Nairobi unless you travel alot.. Most of Nairobians if you ask them have seen very few slums around the city. Ask a honest Nigerian in Kenya.

Your post shows you don't understand Nigeria's problem.The north of Nigeria is like somalia which will always reject any help or program to help it grow due to religious and traditional pride.Now,one of the greatest injustice the British did in Africa was to amalgamate these northerners with the southerners who have little in common with them.It didn't end there,the british handed over political power in Nigeria with the violent north and had helped them maintain it since them.That's what nowenuse meant.It's like kenya being yoked with somalia.It's an uneven yoke holding the country back.

Thank you.But these largely illiterate northerners are the ones in charge of political power in Nigeria.They were the ones who urged the British to stay on for so long and they got rewarded at the expense of the other tribes.It led to the civil war in 1967.So you see,the ones who should help the north have deliberately refused to do so.The guys engaging you here are the southerners.Any positive thing out of Nigeria is mainly through the effort of the southerners who had pulled up their region with their bootstraps.They have done a lot in building up the economy.
