Please, what is that reason? There are a few bad Nigerian apples but to try and claim it is all makes yoou look foolish. The reason why Nigeria was not at the BRICS was simply because as at that time, Nigeria had not rebased it's economy, so South Africa was still the largest economy in Africa.
However, few years later, power changed hands and Nigeria took it's rightful place as the largest economy in Africa.
Very soon, we are going to rebase our economy again since we are now out of recession and making economic growth, so don't be shocked if we are worth over $1 trillion by then while your South Africa is still worth $300 billion

The matter was very complicated. The truth is that the Nigerian Constitution only allows for Sharia in civil matters same with customary law. But the extremist section of the north forced their way. Obj could have stopped it but the crises would have threatened Nigeria and u know Obj carry Nigerian unity matter for head like Gala.
