In my own Opinion and how things are going...there 'll be some re-alignments from latter part of this year (2017) and the contenders could be

Rabiu Kwankwaso
Nuhu Ribadu
Atiku Abubakar (Though His candidacy is some how)
Lamido Sule (though their house, PDP is already grounded)

Then, they will want to bring in people like...Peter Obi, Donald Duke, Charles Soludo on board in VP roles

Frankly, i dont see the presidency living north. 'Presidency' funny! Osinbanjo is just wishful thinking.
Atiku reminds me of Buhari, maybe this time lucky.

I honestly don't want Baba to run again, age is no longer on his side, and so is the downside of longevity as it relates to health.

Osinbajo is learning quite fast and has proven himself a man of great honour and morals. If the party wills it, I wouldn't blink twice before casting my vote for him.

Wouldn't mind seeing someone like Ribadu as well, but I fear his inexperience would get the best of him in such an office. An Osinbajo/Ribadu ticket would sell like hot agege bread I believe.

Another person I could easily support is Ken Nnamani, dude showed can't easily get be intimidated or swayed by money, otherwise Obj might still be the president today.

Tinubu would best concentrate on making Kings rather than trying to be one himself, because that would only diminish his larger than life personality.

GBAM!!!

Atiku Abubarkar will contest, again. He will most likely try to woo some SE governors as running mate; I doubt the acceptibility of Atiku though. He can't deliver votes from NW except he gets the blessing and support of other prominent northerners.

Kwankwaso will contest; 1.3Mil votes from Kano + other NC states no be beans. His choice of running mate may determine how far he will go.

Rochas will come out to make noise as usual but his noise won't take him further than APC primaries.

If PDP can put their house in order before the election, they may pose as a strong opposition/alternative. Unfortunately, that looks far from happening.

Kwankwaso has a bigger problem. The incumbent governor and him dont see eye to eye. This will affect his ability to get the whole of Kano, I.e his political value.

Same thing happened to Shekarua was unable to deliver Kano despite being the past governor.
I don't like him sef, so that's good news.

Honestly Buhari has killed it for me with any northerner candidate. His tribalism was or is one of a kind.
I would rather Tinubu, though corrupt he has a history of performance.else Kowa party it is.

Let's make Nigeria great again with KOWA

Instead of thinking of how to make the country better by probably fighting and kicking out bad government (both APC and PDP), the useless youths we have in the useless country keep assisting the government in planning election.

Seems we are more interested in election than good governance!

Stupid country filled stupid and useless people. I hate you all!

God go punish all the youths that will assist those gullible leaders during their useless campaign. God go punish all of una!

Anybody from the North will win, they neither either the south west or south east/south south.
south west and SS/SE are not united.

Kwankwaso is surely the man for the task! He's a great politician with a very large and strong fan base in the country particularly in the north.

ATIKU IS ALREADY THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

WHO IS GOING TO STOP HIM? OBA OF LAGOS OR OBJ OR YORUBA AGBERO?

ATIKU IS NOT GEJ, HE IS AN HAUSAFULANI MAN FROM THE NORTH.

EVEN MORE DANGEROUS, THE OIL RICH REGION OF THE SS/SE SEEM TO LIKE HIM.

The bolded, as of now, is not an asset, that will be his greatest liability come 2019.

I really like Yemi Osinbajo to continue from where he stops if he is not contesting. I Mean we have gone far in this anti corruption war and i think only Osinbajo will do great job at that.

I like el rufai too. Osinbajo/El rufai will be a combo corrupt politicians cannot recover from. Unfortunately i dont think El rufai will settle for VP, i mean d guys every move is to become president, now, later, or in the future.

God knows best.

Reading some comments here I'm shocked, the BMC theory might be true afterall.

How would a rational individual advocate for a second time for Buhari, let's even put aside his tribalism and ineffective policies, look at his health.
It amazes me that sane nigerians will campaign for someone that frail for another 4 years.

An employer will never employ a liability why should nigerians

Even if he likes let him campaign on a wheel chair. He MUST have his 8 years. No b presidency he want, he don get am. Let him continue. Let the North have their 8 uninterrupted years.

What people talking about replacing Buhari in 2019 don't know is that unless he runs or explicitly anoints another person to replace him, the country would be ungovernable for whoever tries to meander to that seat. Fulani herdsmen would replace BH as the most deadliest terrorist group in the world. All these recent killings in Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, Delta, Enugu... na testing.

The number of deaths will make 2011 post-election violence seem like child's play.

If you want to remove Buhari, wait until 2023.

2015 elections was a contract for 8 years. If you don't like the contract, Kuje is open for you to rest in.

As far as I'm concerned he should rule from the other-room if he likes or just go on vacation in London until late 2018.

He MUST have it under duress. Looooool.

He will contest remotely, and carry out his campaigning activities from home.

Although I am a big fan of Buhari and would ideally want him to continue but I must say, with due respect, that this is silly. No one and I mean no one including Buhari himself is bigger than this great nation.
