Have read virtually all the post on this thread, I know i caused my delay, based on course mis-match (purpose of visit)... However, what is the chances of applying again if not immediately considering below factors:
1.Age above 30? 2.having visited camny twice, and other countries in recent times 3 Did a certification course in canny, in other to erase the issue of purpose of visit when filing in another application.

Hello house. Please I need your help. I have been an ardent follower of this platform and all your write ups has been most insightful. I don't think any agent can guide me as your collective experiences has thus far.

I am a physical therapist and have been practicing for a long while now. I intend to apply for a study permit 2weeks from now but my heart is failing me as I have no choice that to apply as self sponsored. I have adequate fund to apply but can proof its source. As a physiotherapist my licence allows me to practice without restrictions and I do not have to have CAC documents to show a company. So, I generated most of my funds via treasury bills purchase over the years and treating my patients. So, yes I have all the funds required but I can't prove any. I only have funds related with the private hospital I have been working with for the past 3 years (tax clearance,pay slips etc) but that doesn't cover the order fund I will have to declare that I have e.g, private patients that pay me with just their names on to my account and etc.. Please house, I have been depressed for 1 week at this plight of mine. It took me a years to get my admission to a thesis based MSC in Rehabilitation Science. which is my next career part that is clearly inline with my 5years work experience and I have funds but feel it cant be proved even though my 6months statement is clearly showing roboust activity. What do my gurus advice I do. Help a brother with realistic advice friend.

My bro, if only the master admission came through, your TRV would have been in the cart even without a SOP.

Notwithstanding, you still can pull this through but you will have to do alot in explaining and expantiating on your choice of this program and how it is best for you. If i were you, i'll use the inability to secure a master admission to my advantage and make a VO also see why i wouldn't take the program in nigeria because my ultimate goal is to get an internationaly competititive advantage.#Tips

Also take time to point out that the program will afford your another opportunity to hone your academic stand which will further enable you secure a master degree which is your utmost desire.

Anyway, draft all you can and reach me, i'll also help you with it.

N/b..Have you considered a PhD or post graduate diploma?

sir, your SOP go tight for this matter as you will have to emphasize on the PRACTICAL view of construction management to your career and as an architect. Also the prospects and opportunities of this new dimension would add to your profile. the relationship is clear but the vo would want to see the need for this program.

The bold line is also a good reason to relate to a VO why you couldn't get admission in a PhD program as well as your other reason for not going for a masters.

Use all the instances to you greater advantage and make sure everything add up. They most certainly will question your intentions critically. Your are already a professional. Also try to secure a graduate diploma of atleast 2 years if you can. I don't know how long the certificate program will last but consider a minimum of a 2 years program.

Yes I have my tracking number and I check almost everyday the response is your application is still being processed. Submission was through paper route I did not link it because it did not work it kept saying my application could not be found based on the information I have submitted

@ Austinpee4 and others that responded, thank you for your input. In addition to that, since have been delayed few weeks back, what's your take, as i intend kick starting a search for school/ course related to my UG/ 5-7 years of work experince? ahead of jan 2018 intake?

1.Depending on the program you are going for, age MAY or MAY not play a major role in ascertaining your chances.

2. Having travelled both to canada and other countries and returned home to nigeria will also give you some edge.

3.Doing a certification just to show course match may just not be enough. You have to also explain why it it the right program for you, how it will add to your current activity(ies), why you intend undergoing it in canada rather than in nigeria and how it will give you progressive advantages careerwise or academically.

These are some of the things you will have to make officers understand convincingly. They already refused you and any additional information or circumstance MUST significantly show and clear any doubt about your study intentions.

To be honest, I don't have that kind of money in my account. My Aunty on the other hand have paid my tuition for one semester. She has also forwarded me all her bank details and documents of the few assets that she has which includes, a plot of land in Lagos and her house in America. She's ready to take responsibility of all my expenses {atleast for one year till I can get a part time job to pay for my fees for the second year}. How can I arrange my application in such a way that I don't need to include my payslip and statement of account to the Canadian vo? [even though I plan to include my employment letter both in my former place of work and my current organization, reference letter from my employer stating that I shall be going on a 2 years leave without pay to further my education]

My second question is this; My Aunty is still waiting to receive her tax returns from the States. Because I've read in this forum that it takes an average of 17 weeks for an applicant's student visa to be process, I want to submit my application next week. She on the other hand is expecting her tax returns on the 19th of next month. I want to know if I can go ahead to submit my application. Then when she gets her tax returns, she will then send me the papers for inclusion under the statement of account. Note: What she has as savings is $19,000 after paying my tuition for one semester. What she's expecting from tax returns is about $9,000.

Please is it possible to include other supporting documents after submission online?
