Not one person, not one person here truly knows why Iheanacho is not playing regularly. All we opine are at best safe assumptions, postulations, suppositions and guesses. To say confidently that Kc is not getting regular playing time because he is learning drills or needs to learn drills is just an assumption. The reality might be far from what we think. So some bit of humility is necessary cos no one truly knows since no one in the know has authoritatively come out to address the issue. For the devil himself knows not the thoughts of Man.

Pep doesn't rate or have solid plans for Nacho....this is the truth. There is nothing mysterious about it....

I also recall opening a thread about a reps deal Nacho failed to sign with pere Guardiola (Pep's brother)... that may also fall into the picture if there is any fact to it.

But the central issue is this: Nacho is not exactly in Pep's plans despite the fine talent that Nacho is. Period.

Excuse me. Are you telling me that the ideal is to get only drills and no game time?

All those 'drills, fitness routine, dieting to reduce weight ' that you mentioned is it that players who play regular game time do not undergo those too?
Or are you implying a player will have to chose between drills and regular play time?

I am not understanding.

You are now saying 'IF there is no game time move'. We are telling you there is no game time. PEP DOES NO HAVE PLANS FOR IHEANACHO FROM 2017/2018 SEASON AND BEYOND. So that means NO GAME TIME FOR IHEANACHO FOR THE 2017/2018 SEASON! that is the hand writing on the wall that you have read but purposely blocked your mind from reading the meaning.

WE ARE CONCERNED BECAUSE 2018 IS OUR WORLD CUP YEAR AND WE WANT IHEANACHO TO MAINTAIN A REGULAR PLAYING TIME LEADING TO THE WORLD CUP. That is my point and that of some others here. Is that difficult to accept?
On the contrary, TheGoodJoe wants Kelechi Iheanacho to remain on the "Drills without enough game time" for one or two seasons before leaving Man City without recognising the fact that we have World Cup on the line.

May be he wants a bench warmer to strike for us.

This is what I have been hammering for long..... And not only me. But I do mine devoid of hits on Nacho himself...
This is the perfect combo for the development of a young player.

Just ask AS Monaco.... This is their model and this is why Djibril Sidibe chose Monaco over Arsenal despite Arsenal's fame as one of Europe's top sides for developing Young talents. Sidibe was never gonna see as many minutes at arsenal as he saw when he began at Monaco and today he is one one of France's brightest right back options... and guess what? he is still learning.... smiley

Pep is just drilling nacho but not playing him at all or at best, playing him for meagre minutes... #just poor.

Abeg... summer no dey far. Summer don reach sef... Nacho will seek playing time in as much as he still grows in the game.

That has been my point. training and playing the best combo. Ok for instance, what if after learning pep's system, pep decides to send him to another club with different style or system of play. Should kelechi sit and learn the new coach system for one or two years?

Former Chelsea Midfielder Obi Mikel Replaced As Captain Of Tianjin Teda

Former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has been replaced as captain of Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda for the time being, with the midfielder expected to spend at least three weeks on the sidelines due to injury.

Serbian international Nemanja Gudelj has been appointed the new captain of Tianjin Teda until the Nigerian fully recovers from an abdominal injury.

''People know that I was a captain in AZ Alkmaar and vice captain in Ajax, I have been accustomed to this responsibility.''

''I was in Breda, although still young, but I am also the captain of the team. Our current team captain is Mikel, but he is now injured, so I am the captain,'' Nemanja Gudelj told Netease Sports.

Mikel played three games on the bounce before picking up an injury and captained Tianjin Teda in two of those games.

I am never going to forget this season- Moses

Chelsea midfielder, Victor Moses, has said he hopes to have proved that he has the ability to remain in the first team at Stamford Bridge.

Since signing for the Blues in 2012, Moses has spent loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United respectively, but under Antonio Conte, he has flourished in the right wing-back role in the team.

His inclusion in Conte’s plans came as a surprise, but Moses has indicated that he never had any doubts about his ability to make it in West London.

The 26-year-old said: “I’ve never doubted the ability that I’ve got. Chelsea is one of the best clubs in the world and I’ve always believed I have the ability to get into the team.

“I’ve proved that this season. I just kept working hard and kept believing in myself. I’ve moved on from the difficult times now. This is a season I am never going to forget.”

Moses has made 30 appearances in the Premier League this season.

There is one Club I wish Iheanacho can join in the Summer - the Club is Monaco!

I strongly believe he can become the new Prince of Monaco if he'd move to save his deteriorating career on Drilling!

When I say someone is maddeningly in love with Pep so much that their opinions reek of bias and wont see from other people's perspective, then it looks like attack on their personality. Like I said , everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. Just dont share those sentiments where enlightened folks are. If Pep were that good, he would be winning UCL back to back since the days of Barca. Not even sure he won a single UCL at Bayern. The dude is so arrogant he even took Sabatical after he left Barca. Question is what happened after he left? Football didnt stop. And here he is stuck to one stupid ideology. Making a mould for strikers to fit into. Not flexible upfront. Sent Joe Hart away with body language of preference for Bravo. What has he achieved with all that. If he won @ Bayern, its because the players were individually good. If he wants to test his might, he should take a team like sunderland that lacks quality and transform them into champions, I dare say in 6 seasons.

As per our own concern/business interest in man city ... and thats Iheanacho, he is not a beginner. Scorin over 13goals in EPL is not beans. Iheanacho has been fast way before Lord Guardiola came. So all these talk of drills dont fly. I see sterling play rubbish week in week out. Still as selfish as can be. Aguero hasnt exactly been scoring hat tricks in every match as one would expect, considering the almighty anointing of Guardiola, Grandmaster Jedi of football. I see Gabriel Jesus and frankly he isnt playing anything different. Its just a case of belief in your preferred player. Why will you not perform if you have your coach's backing?
Pep is as petty as saying Toure wont play until his agent apologizes to him, to his team. Third party apology! Haba. So to me, I would more or less want to go with the school of thought that says Iheanacho had a fallout with him based on agent issues. The true story will unfold in a matter of weeks. I trust Iheanacho to do the needful. Move out of City before he gets left behind in foolish idiosycracies and obsolete ideologies.

Nah!

It's simply because of play time! Right now, Mbappe is far rated than Iheanacho because he has his chances to show the Drills he learned on the Pitch!

And what about the journalist who confirmed the manager's point.

I also pointed it out before the manager said it. I doubt you understand Iheanacho's contribution. Iheanacho's constant running and movement gave Moses the room to shine. That was the point. So saying Moses did well showed you totally missed the point or did not even follow the post match news.

The point is that in the matches before then he scored a screamer made those same runs you are talking about and against Zambia he scored a brilliant goal or is it 2 sef and still made those runs, I only said he had a quiet game simple, and pls Moses scored the first goal because he took on defenders got to the box did a one two with the Algerian defender and almost got obstructed by iheanacho (fact), Iheanacho contribution in the second goal was a pass to Etebo who gave a delightful final ball to Mikel to win the mannequin challenge. Third goal Moses ran into position and anticipated a good pass from Musa picked his spot from Musa gbam forth chance iheanacho receives a pass from Musa and plays to the skies
He is a great player and maybe the most talented player in the group but he was not the reason we beat Algeria (fact) abi u wan find ratings for the match, That's my 2 pence, And lemme still bust your head understanding what Guardiola wants doesn't guarantee u greatness if not where are Cuenca, tello now.

I wouldn't advise him to join Arsenal. Trust me, he's still gonna be kept on the Bench at Arsenal.

Arsenal must buy world Class Players in the Summer to redeem the Image of the Club, hence a Player like Iheanacho is definitely not the type they need!

I will rather advise him to join Hoffenham, Seville, or Monaco!

How old is Leroy Sane?! Is he not younger than Iheanacho?! When he came to Manchester City, he was drilled for few Weeks, was given his Chances and he's now an integral Part of the Team.

I remember last Season, Iheanacho was over the Media in England. He was acknowledged as the most clinical in the EPL. He was compared with Rashford and everyone was expecting him to perhaps outshine Rashford and other young Lads in the League this Season.

Alas! If he wasn't given playing Time by Pellegrini, how would the World know how talented he is?! Who's watching Drills and Trainings?! Engineering isn't about Theory, rather Practical - coz I'm expecting an Engineer to show me how it's done, not to tell me!

Jesus..... Iheanacho age mate ought to be recuperating now, yet he's getting a Cameo and gradually returning back to the starting Lineup!

I guess Nolito, despite his Experience, is back to drilling School?!

you're so on point Baba.

Guardiola might have won it all across spain and Germany. But in England his legendary status as a coach will be tried n tested.

I can remember one of his fans shouting up and down telling me that lord pep has arrived and that will translate to man city dominating the whole of England for a long time. I smiled then. He went to claim that he sees him winning trebles after pep's first 6 winning streak(I told d dude that this is EPL and not those leagues where one or two teams have established their dominance over a long time). But still he won't listen.

One thing with pep's fans is that they see him as 'infallible' and adopting his philosophy translate to success both on and off the pitch. But I tell them in England you don't play philosophical football rather you play football the way it is.

Welcome back Sir Kog45, Abeg where is Sir Certitude and Mikron.

How does fifty thousand fans improve a player better than a player who practices over a hundred freekicks everyday in training?

As I said before, the match performance is the result of the players behind-the-scenes work.

All this long story does not show how Iheanacho's running got defenders confused and gave Moses room to shine. As for Tello and Cuenca, the lessons from Guardiola and the La Masia academy made them better players than they were. Raised their level. It does not mean any player must become World class under the condition.

Guardiola's training will not turn Delph to Xavi but it definitely made Delph a better player. Comprende?
