Firstly my bro, have it in your mind that everything surrounding your studying in canada will be born out of your desire,creativity, brilliance, individual work ,other abilities and God. Even the SOP you are seeking help will be WELL written with these attributes. It is going to be a continous effort even in canada. People here can only give you an insight or suggestion but ultimately, what you are able to put down yourself will give you greater control and confidence in your re-application.

Regarding your GCMS file, you will need to share here more about your profile. (Undergraduate degree, intended program, work experience, etc). Once you share all these information, guys here will give you different angle on how to remedy the situation.

It is not abnormal. A medical request can still come. For certain, you will undergo a medical examination before your study permit is approved. When will this be? Only the visa officers can tell.

u just have to wait for cic to contact u, except if ur application has passed the processing period (which is 16weeks=4months). keep praying and ur medical mail will show up

the kind of posts and uncertain interpretations I see here recently can induce tension and HBP on applicants and can equally make one if not meticulous confused.

While it is true that you will be asked to provide evidence of payment for your tuition and accommodation the border agents will not handcuff you if you fail to provide said evidence. All travelers must provide the necessary documents before they will be granted entry into Canada if not they will not be allowed into the country. It is only when a traveler is deemed to be a security threat or has broken one of the laws that a handcuff will be used. Some nairalanders can be overly dramatic in this section eh.

paying ur tuition is cool, but d CIC 10k, due to d recent headway of CIC it bera ur sponsor transfer d funds to ur account, because u are using a third-party sponsor so to be on a safe side.

I study in India and is 3years course. It was interdisciplinary course ( journalism psychology and English) My intending course of study in Canada is PGD pre community service.
Concerning the employment issue, is just as patentee in a company and I put it due to the study space that I have........ 2007-2013.......

I agree with you. Make everybody relax. An individual experience should not be used to generalise and conclude the situation.

The surely will be a way out to bring ease to people entering canada.

I don't think that will be necessary. 10k or more can be carried but the individual MUST declare it to CBSA and the purpose of carrying it MUST be established to avoid money laundering or terrorist financing activities.

I also know of some1 who is not on this thread that got to Canada precisely toronto and he only tendered LOA, passport and cic corresponded letter of visa approval. His doin fine self. Please when something happen to you or any1 u know try to get the fact before causing chaos and panic here. Becos dis kind of news can discourage people to move forward. What happen to that moniker's cousin sister might just be one off situation that happen to her. Just like when u go for US visa interview and the Vo don't ask for SOA becos most times it happens. Dats the reason am pleading to everyone travelling dis week to resume summer classes to please share poe experience so we can have updated info.

LOL! POE experience differs so no for us to panic , an immigration officer cam attend to 10 students 10 different ways so let's not allow that person's experience to affect others
