Someone said here using a sponsor's company account is a redflag, what about a company where your sponsor is the sole signatory and it happens to be in his name like "Joseph and Son Ltd"?

And it also happen to be the only account the sponsor does his transactions and have huge sum in?

What is one suppose to do in this situation?

We are filling a study permit for the baby rather than a visit due to the instruction on UBC site :

""Minor children applying from outside Canada to accompany a parent for work or study in Canada should apply for a study permit. In general, having a study permit (rather than a visitor record) can make the immigration process run more smoothly for accompanying minor children.""

The part of concern is the "Details of Intended Study in Canada" for the 1294E form for the baby
what should be filled in the following sections:
Name of School
My level of study
My Field of study
Address of School
DLI Number
Duration of Study
Please advise with what type of information to fill here as I someone once said leave it blank but the Name of School keep indicating required and for level of study should it be not applicable?

Sounds like my family company "Joe and Sons Golden ltd"

But there's no problem since the sponsor can attest and get an affidavit of support to that effect. Well I stand to be corrected

so those that applied for trv online used a dom account to pay .

Tell her to try reducing the content of the body of the email. Had someone having the same issue and that was the cause #cheers!

@chimah3 great posts by the way. But in a situation where the persons employment letter reflects an annual salary which isn't substantial, do you suggest leaving that out as well, if so, how then does the person tackle "current employment status" ?

if the 5m can pay your tuition fee for a year and still you with an equivalent of at least CAD 10,000 (about 2.8m give or take)or more for living expenses for a year then you may risk it. But honestly, i doubt it will cover. So please try to find a co-sponsor. Refusal can be quite painful so don't play with "insufficient funds".

if u r talking of masters then i have a friend who got admitted there. The fees for his first year is a little over 11,000 cad. The second year is less than 2000 cad. Also if u graduated with an upper or more( and got more than 75% in ur 3rd and final yr) you automaticatically qualify for a scholarship worth about 5000 cad which will be deducted from ur fees meaning u will be paying less than what i stated above for the first year.

It will be difficult to raise the funds with effect from resumption date. It will be better to pay for a year's fees because getting job wont be easy and moreover u aint allowed to work more than 20 hours per week when school is incession...!!

I thought someone already asked how much ur tuition fee is? well ur tuition fee + cad10k (living expenses) × #240 should give u the minimum amount u will need. To be on a safer side I will advise u get a co-sponsor as that will reduce the financial burden on u

Pls as regards valuation of landed property,
1.do I still need to notarize them after the valuation?
2.or will just submitting survey plans WITHOUT notarization and valuation be OK?

Did the school give you admission for that pharm and which school did you apply?

I got acceptance from the university of Winnipeg for a pre pharmacy program because pharmacy is not a direct entry program
