Well, The scouts may have been checking out other players and not Madu... but who knows if he caught the eye somehow? Anyway, These speculations are indeed mere even though it is true The scouts watched the game in which he featured.... but the PSG monitoring is more believable even though it is a mere speculation too.... wink

Arsenal, Barcelona Monitor Super Eagles Left Back In Belgium

Representatives from Arsenal and Barcelona witnessed the Belgian First Division A clash between Zulte-Waregem and Sporting Charleroi on April 22.

Scouts in Attendance has reported that the Premier League and
La Liga sides sent their trusted scouts to the Stade du Pays de Charleroi to run the rule over the top stars on both teams.

Nigeria international Kingsley Madu was observed, starting from the 16th minute, when he replaced Brian Hamalainen, while Aliko Bala missed the opportunity to display his wares as he was an unused substitute.

The left back was monitored by Paris Saint-Germain before he transferred to Zulte-Waregem last summer.

Kingsley Madu has contractual obligations with Zulte-Waregem until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Iwobi Begged Wenger To Allow Him Play For Arsenal U23s?

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi asked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to allow him play for the development team of Arsenal following his recent lack of first-team opportunities.

The Hale End Academy product was a surprise inclusion in the starting XI when the U23s tackled Reading in Premier League 2 on April 10, and it has now come to light that he requested to feature in that game.

“It was Alex himself who suggested to the manager that he should be allowed to play for the U23s so as to maintain his match fitness,” a source close to the player told SCORENigeria.
Iwobi has not been utilized by Arsenal coach in the team's last six games in all competitions.

Overall he has made 36 appearances for the Gunners first team this term, scoring 4 goals in all competitions.

I seriously doubt this story.

Madu has not been outstanding this season at all to warrant the interest.

Sounds like agents at work. The ones that told us that Onobi was going to Monaco.

Revealed – The Four Players Permitted By Rohr To Skip Eagles Training Camp In France

Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has granted permission to four players to skip the Super Eagles training camp in France, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The players include three players who are going to be involved in the English FA Cup final in Wembley with Chelsea taking on Arsenal on the 27th of May, a day after the Super Eagles clash against Island of Corsica.

Ola Aina, Victor Moses and Alex Iwobi have all been excused from the camp in France, with Rohr ordering the trio to join the rest of their teammate in Uyo for the Super Eagles AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa.

Aside the trio, Daniel Akpeyi have also been excused from the team camp in France due to club commitments with his South African side Chippa United on the 25th of May.

”We have to consider their clubs as well. So the four players won’t be joining us in France, but they have been directed to report to the camp in Nigeria before the game against South Africa on the 10th of June”, a member of the technical crew told Owngoalnigeria.com.

Looooollll.... onobi to Monaco ..... Hahahahahahahahaha....

Madu to Chelsea is even more believable than Onobi to Monaco.... loooollll

But yes... I too doubt this story... Madu has not been spectacular at all this season.

Arsenal and Barca won't look Madu's way for now if seriously searching for left back options. wink

The cool headedness of Leon will see him lead the team in the future. As for the LB post, I want rivals for that post. echiejile is just enjoying. Alampasu should get a top team to rep soon. Future is bright for him.

As for the driller, seems he has this feel that next season Will be his season.

We Will Drop Some Players Before Corsica Friendly – Rohr Confirms

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has confirmed that not all players invited for the Super Eagles get together in France will make the squad for the friendly game against Corsica Island.

As many as 30 players are expected to make the trip to France with the Super Eagles, but that number will be trimmed before the team’s training session in Paris, Rohr has confirmed.

Nigeria will play a test game against the tiny Island, three days after their camp opens in France, but the coach has confirmed that some players will be dropped from the team before the friendly on the 26th.

"We will play against Corsica and we will have about 20 to 23 players. But not all the players will come with us to Paris on May 23 when we meet before proceeding to Ajaccio in Corsica, where the game will be played."

The game will give fringe players of the team, the chance to stake a claim in the squad for the AFCON 2017 qualifiers against South Africa on the 10th of June.

this is a good news.
With 30 players excluding(victor, Iwobi and Aina) invited to the eagles camp in france, Rohr and his crew will be able to access more players and the best will be selected.
I ONLY HOPE THOSE TO BE INVITED WILL MERIT IT AND TAKE THEIR CHANCES.

I will advise Rohr to go for a midfield pivot of Etebo and Ndidi, while Aluko will be tasked with providing the creative spark.

Is that ur version of I told u so? The fact that he has a poor agent doesn't change that for the past days Odey has been a big transfer topic. Proving that the NPFL is still a place were teams can find talent. If players like Alhassan and Sikiru keep their focus we will have a player leave on a big deal in the near future.

Exclusive – Marseille To Run The Rule On Leicester City Star Ahmed Musa When Nigeria Take On Corsica

Out of favour Leicester City star Ahmed Musa could be on his way to French side Olympique Marseille if he impresses the decision makers of the club during the Super Eagles friendly game against tiny Island Corsica.

Musa has failed to live up to the big transfer fee Leicester City paid CSKA Moscow for his signature, and the club are willing to let him leave in the summer, with Marseille reportedly one of the clubs eyeing the 23 year old.

However Musa will need to convince the decision makers at the club during the Eagles get together and subsequent friendly game before the club will decide on a move for him.

Marseille are in the market for a quick wing forward and Musa fits the bill of the type of player they are hoping to add to their squad, after the high profile capture of former West Ham star Dmitri Payet.

Is it everyone that has a poor agent? It shows that the recent stories about rejecting trial with Genk and contract offers from different countries are false. It was obviously put in the news by agents to increase interest in their player.

Obaje -Trial -Russia
Chisom- Trial - Sweden
Odey- Trial - Denmark

In the same period, we have had youngsters signing for Serie A clubs and top clubs in Holland, Belgium and Portugal.

If League players are more expensive why are swedish clubs going for them and not italian, germany or Dutch sides
