goldfish80:No I do not think so. The same way you think tbaba hates NPFL is the same way people see those of us who are not pleased with Kelechi Iheanacho's treatment by Pep at City. Any time we voice out our frustrations especially as regards TheGoodJoe's stands. We are seen as people who hate Nacho. I do not see any hatred in what he says. 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Good player, but i think he will have to settle for a defensive role not an offensive role. He plays right winger, right back and left back at his club but in recent times, he has been more of a right winger and i think Nigeria has enough players for that role. Let us see how it plays out.. It appears Brian Idowu has not been invited. |

Abeg... Owngoal originally reported 22nd of March in this report.... I just did a search and found out they meant to type 22nd of May.... that is when Chukwueze will turn 18 and be officially unveiled...... as first i was afraid say na next year things. So watch out people... may 22nd, Chukwueze becomes an official Villarreal player joining Jack Ipalibo and raising our Spanish contingent of young starlets... remember Uzoho at Deportivo. ........................................................................................................ Revealed – The Date Villarreal Will Officially Announce Signing Of Wonderboy Samuel Chukwueze Spanish La-Liga outfit Villarreal have agreed a deal in principle with Diamond Academy FC for the signing of Nigeria youth international Samuel Chukwueze. As exclusively reported by this football portal two months ago, Chukwueze spent time training with the La-Liga outfit, but before returning back to Nigeria a deal was reached for his signing. The failed Arsenal and FC Porto target will be unveiled as a Villarreal player once he turns 18 on the 22nd of May Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal. Nicknamed Nigerian Robben due to similarities in his style of play and that of Dutch winger Arjen Robben, he was one of the stars of the Nigeria U-17 team that won the last U-17 World Youth Championship. He will join his ex Nigeria U-17 teammate Jack Ipalibo at the La-Liga side , and they both will star for the junior team before making the step up to the main team based on performances. Already Ipalibo has enhanced his chances of progressing through the ranks this season with strong displays for the U-18s since joining them in the summer. **Daniel Martins Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/03/revealed-the-date-villarreal-will-officially-announce-signing-of-wonderboy-samuel-chukwueze/ 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: The term top quality is not static but dynamic in this context last seasons top quality striker can be next seasons flop (Ighalo). The reason why Ronaldo to me is the best in the World he keeps improving, 32 years old and still the best. A decade plus as the best is incredible. That's why it is intrinsically essential to consider present continous not past recent history. I am Nigerian and like many hear I have experience of Nigeria in many areas. I know a lot of our inherent and sometimes prevalent nature. Rohr is one man and he will have to rely on advisors from the NFF, particularly where the subject is English football. I am concerned. When I see players who have done absolutely nothing. For instance Eberechi Eze and they are invited to the SE, he has barely played a competitive game for QPR a far from top team in the Championship. My suspicions are that agent manipulation, back slapping and manipulation have now got into the process. Last week Saturday I was in Liverpool and I watched Liverpool U18 play Chelsea U18. Quite surprisingly at one stage Chelsea had only one white outfield player. Nigerian origin players where at least 6/7 on both sides. I watched Uche Agbo very impressive and Uwakwe as well as Bobby Adeleye for Liverpool. In the scheme of things in terms of Nigerian origin talent in the U18 grouping, I would struggle to rate Eze in the top 20. So why is he invited, I am perplexed. Meanwhile not a word about Aluko, Onyedinma and others. I have said it before Onyedinma willl most likely end up in a premiership team. He has very wisely let his contract run out and he will be a free agent this summer. In addition his agents are Base so watch this space. I hope we will not wait for him to become a baller in the premiership and then start contending with Englands FA. 1 Like |

Paul “Nigerian Peter Crouch ” Onuachu Happy To Be On The Radar Of Gernot Rohr FC Midtjylland of Denmark Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu has reacted to reports that he is closely being watched by the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr. Onuachu is having his best season as a professional footballer since moving to Europe at the age of 18, with 13 league goals to his name from 30 games this season. His form as exclusively reported by this portal caught the attention of coach of the Super Eagles Rohr, who pencilled him down for future invitation to the senior national team of Nigeria. “ To hear that the Manager is watching me gives me another reason to knock on. I have to prove that I’m worth taking out. I hope they call someday”, he said. “ Maybe they will wait for a change of club. So I have to convince them that one can take a player from Denmark, because the league is physically strong and good. “ It will be great to play for the national team. It will be so nice to play for that team.” “ Nigeria is a football country with lots of good players in Europe, also in big clubs. “ “Wearing the green shirt will be one of the biggest moments for me.” **Michael James Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/03/paul-nigerian-peter-crouch-onuachu-happy-to-be-on-the-radar-of-gernot-rohr/ 1 Like |

Abeg... let's set the records straight. The issue of nacho was never about hate... but was about Nacho being made fun of.... so biko... it is way different. After all... I too am displeased with Nacho's treatment and situation at City but never resorted to unhealthy digs... Am i not one of the major persons always pointing out the fact that pep doesnt rate or value Nacho? So plsss hate was never the issue. Chikena. otezu5: |

Sir Komekn... abeg no vex... I really have to run now... when I return I will reply this... if necessary... Haven't exactly read all of it sef coz I am in rush hour now.... thanks. * Modified * Okay Sir Komekn... I am still engaged but stole a little time to read your comment and then reply... I understand you... we should judge based on current form and also top potentials in terms of present continuous.... But you see, you cannot class Osimhen as a player being called up based on past glory alone.... this is a lad that has always impressed Rohr in the super Eagles Camp while mixing it in training with the big boys of the team.... He is a player with top potentials who did it at the U-17 level and about a month or two later, did it again in impressive fashion at the U-23 level.... His class and potentials are not in doubt and had it not been for injury, he would have made a couple of bundesliga appearances before this season runs out. In Osimhen, we have the future... and in as much as Rohr works to deliver in the present, he must keep a keen eye also on the future. Osimhen is not a player with just past glory but a player with reputable talents and potentials which if given a chance after his comeback from injury will surely blossom. You can take that to the bank. ................ Now on Ebere Eze's possible invite for the France camp, well.... I think Rohr just wants to have a closer look at the lad to see if he merits future invites and this is if the reports of his invitation are true in the first place. I am sure The Likes Of Aluko, Onyedimma, and co are on the NFF radar as Pinnick himself has a thing for the English borns of Nigerian blood... We cannot invite all at once.... Right now, Rohr wants to have a look at Onyekuru, and a few players from the home front... like Sikiru and Alhassan Ibrahim.... so plsss Sir Komekn... just exercise a little more patience with Rohr.... Everyone can't be invited at once and also the bulk of the team he knows will always be called to camp to ensure that he keeps a vital factor needed for a national team to keep bonding and getting stronger and more cohesive.... That is "Continuity" ................ Now about the game you saw.... I am sure you meant Ike Ugbo and not Uche Agbo.... Then ofcos Tariq Uwakwe, and co..... I know of these Chelsea youngsters and more.... I believe with time, the real deals among them that would add more super quality to the super Eagles in the long run will be given a good look in.... It is just sad we missed out on the Caf u-20 AYC and now FIFA U-20 WC, we would have used that to cap and see some or maybe a few of these youngsters in the green and white.... so for now, it is one step at a time and has to be that way..... thanks. komekn: |

I just love the bolded part (also the last statement) of this article.... dem foreign journalists who recognise our future is bright are increasing by the day.... ....................................................................................................... Report: Midtjylland edging Celtic in Stephen Odey pursuit; offer first-team spot Celtic are tracking Nigerian hotshot Stephen Odey - but they have plenty of competition from Scandanavia. Brendan Rodgers wasn’t kidding when he claimed that Celtic would be scouring some of the world’s more under-the-radar markets for unpolished young talent, the Evening Times reports. article continues below From fresh-faced Australian midfielder Riley McGree, Belgian league hotshot Henry Onyekuru and Romanian international Ovidiu Popescu, The Bhoys have been linked with a number of highly-rated starlets in recent months. And Stephen Odey is no different. All Nigeria Soccer report that the 19-year-old, plying his trade with the wonderfully named Mountain of Fire in his homeland, has been contacted by Celtic with the possibility of a trial with the Scottish champions. However, they add that Celtic have plenty of competition with AIK Stockholm and FC Copenhagen also sniffing around. Celtic's Odeyssey And Danish side FC Midtjylland , who have famously embraced the ‘moneyball’ approach to transfers with excellent results, may have edged ahead in the race for Odey’s signature. article continues below Former Midtjylland star Pione Sisto scoring against Manchester United in the Europa League ''It's an exciting opportunity and we have to see what it ends with,'' said FCM sports director Claus Steinlein, in quotes reported by All Nigeria Soccer . ''In relation to his age, he is a player we are looking for to be able to go directly into the team and compete for a spot." At Celtic, meanwhile, Odey would probably have to wait for his opportunity. He may be the top scorer in the Nigerian first division with 14 goals this season but, with Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths (below) already fighting for a place in Rodgers’ lone-striker system, Odey would certainly be third choice at least. Although, alongside Onyekuru, it’s clear that Nigeria won’t be lacking firepower in the coming years. the best thing that has ever happened to Nigerian football in the last ten years has been Lmc chairman Sheu Dikko and also Gernert Rhor. in my humble opinion his healthy contribution to the Nigerian topflight league has washed down into the lower leagues as well, things myt not be neat perfect now but in the future it will get better. And I tell u what it's like a seed has been planted and very soon the fruits would soon be there for all to see and if the partnership with la liga is extended further who knows what we myt achieve on the African and world scene. First it was the Lmc youth team all stars that went to South Africa for the future champions tourney then came the LMC u15 tournament which is expected to be an annual championship. Now the Nationwide league ome will kick off next week Tuesday with MFM feeders visiting Spartans fc, and I tell u, all teams in NPFL all av their feeder teams participating in the NL01, this is a pleasant development which clubs will benefit from. players from their feeders can easily make the step from the feeders to the main team in the top flight with enough experience gained from playing in the lower leagues, and also the issue of third party ownership would be reduced by the time these feeder players move into the main team. already the NNL has shown it is improved from what it used to be with bet9ja now a partner with the league n the away wins are there for all (especially with kwara utd going to the confluence stadium to beat kogi utd by 0-1 without any controversies) but one thing is that the Referees are sabotaging the good works of our league handlers. I have at least two to three videos of goals disallowed in the NNL and also in the NPFL all which are legitimate. all in all Lmc n Sheu Dikko need to be commended for their good works, just one more thing is needed TV COVERAGE of the NPFL, already the NLO1 will be on PIPUL TV which is a new pay TV owned by a Nigerian, We are still expecting NTA to broadcast one NNL match live oooo, abi has any one watched the NNL on NTA recently Here are the fixtures from the NLO1 1 Like
