Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, 26, has agreed personal terms on a five-year Manchester United deal worth £280,000 a week. Bayern Munich have held talks with 28-year-old Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez's agent as they continue to prepare for a summer move for the Chile international. Manchester United have had a £72m bid for Kylian Mbappe turned down, with Monaco wanting at least a world-record £100m for the 18-year-old forward. Pedro Caixinha is preparing to stage a wholesale clear-out of players at Ibrox this summer, after holding crunch talks on Wednesday. Antonio Conte is looking to offload Brazilian star Willian to help fund a summer spending spree. Roma are likely to sign Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie, who has also attracted the attention of Premier League big-hitters Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has signed a new five-year contract at Everton. Chelsea are reportedly ready to hijack Manchester United's interest in Torino's Andrea Belotti. Arsene Wenger has revealed he went to Mbappe's house last summer as he came extremely close to securing a deal to bring the Monaco star to Arsenal. After two failed attempts, Barcelona are ready to launch a third bid of up to £51m to sign Liverpool's 24-year-old midfielder Philippe Coutinho. Manchester City fear striker Sergio Aguero, 28, could miss the end of the season with the injury he suffered in Sunday's draw at Middlesbrough. Manchester United are prepared to pay Torino £64m to sign their 23-year-old Italy striker Andrea Belotti. Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in Nice's 25-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder Jean Michael Seri, who is also being tracked by Paris St-Germain and Barcelona. Chelsea are willing to sell their 28-year-old Brazil midfielder Willian, with Manchester United expected to make a bid. Hull boss Marco Silva could be approached by Watford, Southampton and West Ham United if he manages to steer his Premier League side clear of relegation. Striker Olivier Giroud, 30, will only decide on his Arsenal future once he knows whether Arsene Wenger will stay or go, according to his agent. Manchester City are favourites to sign left-back Luke Shaw, 21, should he decide to leave Manchester United this summer. Jose Mourinho has identified Joe Hart, 30, as his first option to replace David de Gea, 26, in the event Manchester United lose their starting goalkeeper to Real Madrid this summer. Mourinho is also interested in 18-year-old AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the Italian's parents have told him to extend his contract at the Serie A club instead. Liverpool and Chelsea are ready to bid for left-back Ryan Bertrand, 27, as he tells Southampton team-mates he is ready to leave. England's hopes of staging the 2030 World Cup are in danger because Fifa plans to relax a ban on China hosting the tournament. Paris St-Germain are lining up former Manchester City and Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini to replace current manager Unai Emery, should the Spaniard leave the club this summer. Barcelona have made contact with former Paris St-Germain boss Laurent Blanc about succeeding Luis Enrique, who will step down at the end of the season. Jose Mourinho used the Champions League semi-final to scout Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, 24, and midfielder James Rodriguez, 25. Chelsea are planning to loan out centre-back Kurt Zouma, 22, next season so he can complete his recovery after a major knee injury. West Ham keeper Adrian is a target for La Liga side Malaga, with Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis also interested in the 30-year-old Spaniard. Barcelona and Turkey midfielder Arda Turan will not be leaving the club this summer, according to the 30-year-old's agent, despite interest from Arsenal and Inter Milan. Bournemouth striker Joshua King, 25, is "happy to be recognised" by Tottenham transfer rumours, but the Norwegian says he is focused on finishing the season strongly with the Cherries. Rafael Benitez will meet Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley next week to discuss how to move forward following the club's return to the Premier League. The Spaniard is likely to be offered a transfer budget of around £70m. Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata, 29, says he has always had a good relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, who sold him when he was in charge of Chelsea Roma are interested in signing Arsenal's 31-year-old left-back Nacho Monreal. Chelsea will have to stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2019-20 season because of delays to the start of structural work on their new ground. 1 Like |

souloho19: https://www.premierleague.com/news/373663 How qualification for English teams may change were United to win the UEL: If Man Utd win the UEL and finish in the top four of the Premier League, the top four PL teams will all qualify for the UCL group stage unless the 2016/17 UCL winners fail to qualify for the group stage via their domestic championship finishing position. Then Man Utd, as UEL winners, would go into the UCL play-off round stage. If Man Utd win the UEL and finish outside the top four of the Premier League, the top three PL teams will qualify for the UCL group stage, the fourth-placed team will qualify for the UCL play-off round and Man Utd will qualify for the UCL group stage unless the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League winners fail to qualify for the group stage via their domestic championship finishing position. Then Man Utd would go into the UCL play-off round. If Man Utd win the UEL their place in the UEL third qualifying round for winning the EFL Cup would go to the next-highest ranked team not qualified for UEFA competitions in the Premier League. 1 Like |

Twizzy30: Nah, he gets a statue at best. Stand is for long-life legends and is something you give to old men who spent a whole lifetime increasing the fortunes of the club eg Bobby Charlton and Sir Alex. You need to be sure that that person will end up among the top 4 legends in your clubs future history, as there are only 4 stands in a stadium. |

Chelseafc News I'M WILLING TO PLAY IN PAIN Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is willing to play through the pain barrier for the remainder of the season despite sustaining a fresh ankle injury. The Belgian missed the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in April after injuring his ankle while on set of a photoshoot with the NBA. The 24-year-old’s been in great form this term but showed signs of discomfort during the second half of the club’s 3-0 win against Everton last weekend. According to the Evening Standard, Courtois has suffered a recurrence of his ankle injury and is under threat of missing parts of Chelsea’s run-in. However, at this moment in time, Courtois is said to be willing to play through the pain and believes he can deal with the level of discomfort for the next month. Chelsea have four matches remaining in the Premier League and face Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May |

Twizzy30: For me, he would need to do something in management or in the boardroom to get a stand. His playing career is not enough. Only likes of Messi can get a stand off playing career alone. |
