Maybe due to poor cataloging and management, it might seem difficult to find a book, doesn't mean there's no system in place to help u find one

Prof Ejiofor's library of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University cost about 1.8 billion naira, with free Wi-Fi, E library, underground study arenas and many more I feel it is the best, you can even park your car on the first floor self

Many people on this thread are erroneously using picture of big edifice as indices for university library's standard, that is so wrong. If we are to go by the upside-down logic, virtual libraries (library without wall) will be the worst kind of libraries.

What I expect to see are Staff strength, collection strengths/weaknesses, library services rendered, and how they have move with trends of ICT. All I see are just buildings.

I doubt if there is any university library that can best Kenneth Dike, UI, library in terms of collections. Meanwhile, when we talk about going digital, Landmark University library is doing just fine. It is not about gargantuan building.

UNICAL LIBRARY IS THE BIGGEST IN WEST AFRICA. exactly What you see above the ground is what you have underground. Try and Google it. But in terms of contents, I can't say. But I know that there's an e-libraey subscription to some of the most powerful libraries in the world, like Harvard, IMT, Oxford, UCL, etc. You can have access to books published in current month at any point in time.

UNN doesn't have catchment area too...but in Practical terms it does.

Unilorin is supposedly a Federal School but in Practical terms isn't truly Federal in Admissions​ and employment quota, same goes for FUTMinna and some others.

Funaab is purpose-named and isn't a National University.
It may assume the No Catchment Rule especially if the course is Agriculture related... but at best is theoretical.

The only University, I repeat the only school that jettisons Catchment Rule according to Federal Character and obeys it to the letter is University of Ibadan.
