Owerri

No state governor in the right frame of mind would after building broad roads in the state capital, shall again spend money on metal decorations of the top of the broad road, while humans in other parts of the state have been breathing dust from the roads the governor scratched and abandoned in the last five years?

What state governor in his right frame of mind would start 8-lane roads, 5 Inland roads, tunnels, flyovers in Owerri when people in Okigwe and Orlu have been breathing dust in the last five years from roads scratched and abandoned by Okorocha govt?

Okorocha's Owerri Mega City project is a product from a Hate-filled mind.

Before his hateful condition started, Okorocha swore in 2012 that he would embark upon even spread of development projects in Imo state.

Later, as his hate for a section of Imo state started, he retreated to the state capital to knock down and rebuild, he has not scratched a road work in Okigwe and Orlu in the last three years.

Okorocha abandoned the road works he started in Okigwe and Orlu; all pleas to complete the roads in those two towns to save lives went unheeded as people breathe dust.

@op, Where are the classy Hotels with massive patronage as you claimed LMAO.....exactly the step you take when you are trying to rebrand a bad product

You had better come to Lagos and see the real definition of those terms you used cuz owerri is just a modernized village with shallow minded people like you ( and your clown of a governor) who portray mediocrity with style and hypocrisy

And pls, I wuld lyk you to explain what you meant by; ''Malaysian boys'', '' and ''business dooms'' cry

Smh............Omo 'Igbo' and their dirty ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Governor is not only a clown that cut workers pensions by 60% but also a thief.

The OP is a scammer just like the Governor.Looks like Rochas Okorocha might be warming up for a Presidential run and is dishing out propaganda to fool the gullible masses.

Op, as you celebrate Okorocha's Owerri, the little grey matter in your head did not tell you that it is foul play for a state governor to do nearly 98% of his development projects only in the state capital, while the other towns in his state decays - as it is in Imo state today?

What if Nigeria's govt builds only Abuja Mega city to rival Dubai or New York or London, but abandons Owerri and Lagos and Kano etc; then splashes Abuja beautiful pictures for Nigerians to see, while the rest of Nigeria is decaying, what do you think shall be the reaction of Nigerians?

Appreciate the little, the best is yet to come. Let Nigeria develop one state to compete with Dubai, I will be happy.

Good and for clarification their is Riban stores in Enugu, Awka and Owerri and also people keep saying that they need industry. Hotel is also called tourism industry. Macau, Monte Carlo and Cancun are one of the richest places in the world and they are tourist destination and makes more money in tourism industry

In Igbo land we have division of labour
Owerri is Tourist
Enugu is administration
Nnewi is heavy manufacturing
Onitsha is commerce
Aba is fabrications and clothings
Orlu is pharmaceutical
Oguta is positioned for maritime
Anioma....Well, we are thinking of what to do with them
Abakiliki us agriculture

please its good to open a thread to highlight the positives of owerri, but stop posting old pictures of owerri and then claiming you took them yourself, of with some of the pictures you claim you took are pictures i took myself and that of Abagworo.

you sound like an afonja who wants to create an ipob image for yourself, when people begin to think you are ipob then you show your real self like your fellow afonja always do. claiming igbo and attacking yoruba at the initial use of their monika, later they change to start attacking the same igbos you claim in the name of being real...

All was attained without Presidency.

Imo was destroyed during the civil war, no marshal plan(Federal gov money to rebuild war ravaged zone) was given to Imo as was given to the north east by Buhari, but yet, how many other states without war that can match this?

Owerri is good.

Owerri has the highest number of fun spots per hectare in Nigeria.

But Enugu is still the best city out of the East.
