I want to thank bellong and and other wonderful people that have made this forum very informative. The good news is that I just got a positive outcome from vetassess but I am in a dilemma. My wife just also got ITA from Canada express entry but has not submitted her application. Now we are confused on whether to go ahead with Australia or Canada since at this point we cannot apply for the two. Please which of the two should we go for? How good is the quality of life in Australia? Please elders and gurus in the house, I need your wise counsel.

Having shown my wife the JD of the ICT customer support officer, she acknowledges that some of her roles are similar to the same. Despite this, one of TRA 's criteria for assessment is a relevant qualification held. I'm beginning to wonder if TRA would take Sociology as DIRECTLY relevant because of the few technical aspect of involved in the JD. What do you think?

If you have read Tasmania's immigration webpage, you would have answered your question.

Tasmania will only sponsor you if you have a job offer or relative living in the state.

I forgot she studied sociology. However, if she has been in the role for more than 5yrs, experience can substitute for qualification.
Throw TRA an email for clarity.

This type of decision is not what anybody can decide for you because different people with different reasons for migration.

Consider what the two countries have to offer in line with your goals and choose the one that fits in best with it.

If your wife's ITA is a provincial nomination especially Saskatchewan, I will confidently advice that you throw the nomination in the thrash but if it is a Federal nomination, revert to the first statement.

However, if I were in your position, I would choose Australia over Canada for every reason I can think of for my circumstances.

The decision is yours, start the research on both countries.
