horluwahseye:Why didn't you include your Refusal at American embassy their? Did they tell you that because America refused you Canada too will refuse you? I know of a guy that applied to American embassy and got refused 4 times an got approved on the 5th time.... If America can still approve someone they have refused 4times why will Canada refuse you because America refused you Getting to the reality, did you use an agent? If you did was it with your consent not including your Refusal? After that 15days if you don't revert to them you are possibly going to bag a 5yrs ban! Guess you know what that means to your travel history! Biko write letters and explain yourself to them 1 Like |

Hello Guys being a while, i Had a little editing to my previous post. Thanks to onyeoma3 and other guys on this thread. You guys rare amazing! Funding basically covered tuition and incidental fees with a little remaining for living expenses. Still God is faithful. I just need to prove living expenses. Please i would like to ask, if a third party is to prove as sponsor and you just want them to pay the amount into your account, like how long must it stay in the account before some one can return it. I obviously know someone has to prove relationships and other source of income documents from the sponsor which wouldn't be a problem. My question is how long must the money stay in one's account after submission to CIC. Thanks. Osemigbo i can see your TRV, its on the way already bro and same to all other TRV hopefuls. Our case is ordained to be different 1 Like |

leave it there till your visa it approved or after printing SOA on night before you arrive Canada...although I think the latter is the best bet. My thoughts though SURGEE: 1 Like |

Please I will like to know the reason behind your assertion that my friend can't apply for a Canadian Study Permit while on a tourist visa in the Uk? To shed more light to his situation, he already got a police certificate from Nigeria and he communicated with Vfs UK about it and they said so long he has a residential address in the Uk, he told them he will be using his friend's(Host) residential address and they said that is fine. The only question they could not respond to was the issue of using a medical done from IOM in Nigeria since the UK has its own accredited physicians and that was the reason for my initial query which I will really appreciate gurus and anyone in the house with knowledge to share. @Justwise, @Ausinepee @MichV @Mikymiko. Thank you. LightandDarkness: |

SURGEE: It is safest for the money to be in your account until you get the permit. Those guys are unpredictable. The VO might request for your statement after 3 months of holding on to your package. What do you do then if you have already returned the money? 1 Like |

parksg: hmmm. I get your point bro. Thanks bro cos one cannot envisage how this VO's will behave, but i heard that they cannot check one's balance beyond what's stated in the SOA without your consent or so..... |

CaptainCanny: my brother/sis, u cannot apply for any visa in any country that you are not a resident or a national of. Uk tourist visa doesnt make u qualified to apply for visa within the UK. You cannot even apply for uk student visa. So the better you take the advice the better Your only best shot is an online route and you will fill the form as if you are in naija. Goodluck. Caution: some of VFS employees dont know it all trust me so double check whatever they tell u 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Nobody: 12:19pm On May 11, 2017 |
they can't, but an updated SOA if been asked for will show the latest development SURGEE: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Nobody: 12:25pm On May 11, 2017 |
CaptainCanny: To the best of my knowledge you can only apply from a country where you have legal status I.e. resident, citizen, refugee, student. I don't think a tourist visa counts, open to being proved wrong. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 12:32pm On May 11, 2017 |
Kranjar:Funny enough, with the recent development, all applicant MUST have funds for study available. There will be no such thing as borrow anymore because an applicant either will show the embassy that money is already domiciled in canada or the bank will assure the embassy that funds are on deposit and will be transfered to canada. So how will a bank give such assurances when kobo no dey the akant again after submission? The reality now is that person MUST get money for study in canada. The prayer now go be say make the embassy send that mail to get assurance from the bank if person never pay or transfer any fees/funds. It's even more important now than medical mail because application still get refused after medical call but that recent mail from IRCC give more confidence of an approval if the bank assurances are given. cc @SURGEE |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 12:45pm On May 11, 2017 |
CaptainCanny:Bro, like its been mentioned already, advice your friend to come back and apply from nigeria to avoid "immigration status in country of residence" issue. Even if he/she were to apply online, no one can say how online application are routed. The possibly could be using IP addresses and domain name servers (IT terms to identify network location and connections) to shift applications to the appropraite visa office since the person is in the UK on tourist visa. so he/she avoid 'had i known', applying form nigeria will be best. 1 Like |
