I sincerely appreciate everyone who has shared their opinion here.@judebebo32, @Austinpee4, @Justwise,@OluwaCanny,@LightandDarkness and others. I read all your comments and I saw good rationality in it. Amongst your comments, some words in it made me redefine my search word on google and I got what I have never gotten before. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5269ETOC.asp. It is a link to a guide on the for filling of cic form. This is what Question 9 states: Check the box to tell us if you are applying from the country you live in. If you checked “No”, choose the correct information: The name of the country where you are applying from, Your immigration status in that country by choosing one of the following: Citizen Permanent resident Visitor Worker Student Other Protected Person Refugee Claimant Other: You must fill out this section if you chose “Other” as a status. The dates (From – To) that you have been living in that country. If you are not a citizen of the country where you are applying, you must send proof of your legal status in the country you live in when you submit your application. How can that be reconciled to my friend not being eligible to apply for a study permit from the UK? P.S I am only trying to come to terms with your opinions to enable me make an informed decision when I eventually want to apply. I respect everyone's opinion. We are all learners and will learn even until our last breath. Thank you. justwise: |

CaptainCanny:Bros, we no know how we won take help you again o. Honestly, i feel all the response you've gotten is the best interpretation to all you need to know about applying from there with his status but since you are still figuring why your friend cannot apply from the UK on a tourist visa, una fit give am a shot to relieve yourself of the headache. "Current immigration status" will not favour your friend. He must have a tie to UK to stand a chance( work, study, etc). The list of the status you mentioned all have ties to their resident country. Your friend doesn't have any. |

o2: from this thread i can say non, a moniker here on this thread with full funding both tuition and living expenses got that CIC latest development mail. it seems d mail is inevitable irrespective of your funding, but you can always sort that after receiving the mail, cox you dont have to pay all you need is get supporting letter from the school to address the cic request (my opinion though wch stands to be corrected). if you gonna study in canny, just have the money ready. cox the instruction would come knocking one way or the other. |

Very true bro. I am very well familiar with the latest happenings on getting funds ready to be exported abroad. My plan is to get that stuff done to apply for visa first and by God's grace once my hustle clicks, i can personally put funds into the account to settle the living expenses palava. It will end in praise. Austinpee4: |

Many confirmed that research is no play in Canadian schools on this forum, I am also a testimony to this. Guess what? My supervisor sent me some preliminary designs of what we will be working on and NASA Manuals(422pages) some hours ago. "Hi, Here's some ideas about a hole for the foot to think about. Attached is the NASA standards on body part sizes". I will pretend I did not see it until my TRV is approved. 9 Likes |

Ejaloni123: I can relate. I am used to this now. Same thing happened when I got selected for my masters programme. My supervisor sent 100 papers asking me to summarize all and send to him immediately I get to china. No be joke, the paper dem boring. The good news is I am better for it now, thank God. Even, my new supervisor in Canada told me I will be included in a project this may, that I will work remotely... Them go giv you money but you go work for every penny...chai, thank God for strength, we ready for them. 3 Likes |
