Wait for it to call 1st option or just press 9 if you are impatient
Them choose 1 and wait for the confirmation that it has been changed. I am not doing because I like MTN but becos u are a fellow addled individual in the same quandary I found myself once.

Check if your msg center number is correct. Check it with others in ur area
