tbaba1234:Since their role is to support and they haven't sat since last year shouldn't that raise a question? By the way, the technical committee regulate the activities of the various national teams, Super Eagles is not the only national team we have. If they aren't having meetings, it means there is no framework or vision of the present board of the Nff,because they are the one to offer technical support. Is it possible that the FIFA technical committee haven't had meetings for 11 months ? 1 Like |

tbaba1234: even at that he my not feature this season just training for this season and maybe during the pre season play two or few matches. then next season he may be offered few cameo appearance, so little by little he would be integrated into the team. at least 3sc had a 16 year old Otun Fawaz in their team last season and he had some feedback games. cc Icon4s, bascovanveli |

Danycrusoe:Does the club not have an U17 team? Why promote the lad straight to the senior team? Don't they know what career progression means? |

Icon4s: I don't think dey do. but then I just recalled that the NLO1 has started n all the 20 teams in the NPFL have their feeders teams there so I think that's where they should v let him play for now |

Danycrusoe: That's just it. He still needs some nurturing with his age mates. That boy I am seeing should be between 13 and 14. I don't think he is even up to 15. |

Danycrusoe: Nazifi Yahaya has made his debut for Kano Pillars this term and MFM also have a 16 yr old on their bench inching closer. Players like Sokari and pyagbara got their debut at 16 or so. |

Icon4s: The movement just started na, there is no u17 yet so moving to the senior team might be the only next step. |

please whenever we are castigating players who failed to make it big after showing potentials, let's have some respite and take it easy on Femi Opabunmi, especially because of the eye issue that hit him in the early years of his career and then led to him leaving the game early, no one knows how far he would have gone if not for the eye problem. it's totally not the guy's fault. 2 Likes |

Icon4s: you totally get it and the feeders teams seem to have relatively young players as well. I saw Remo stars main and feeders team play in the third place match of the Ogun state Fa cup last weekend and their feeders team had players of averagely 17-20 years based on the faces I saw and stature but I must say there were some few guys above 20 in their feeders as well |

komekn:I gave you grief for our 2013 and 2015 U17 sets. Every time I argue on age grade, I ALWAYS state that I don't know anything of the pre-2013 set, but i can vouch for the 2013 and above set Odey did not go through any age grade team, so I cannot vouch for him. 1 Like |

Icon4s: That could be a way of looking at it but i doubt that since they already have a feeder team. The coaching staff might want to work closer with him, this doesn't mean he is getting a regular shirt. |
