That could be a way of looking at it but i doubt that since they already have a feeder team. The coaching staff might want to work closer with him, this doesn't mean he is getting a regular shirt.

Don't you think the coaching team can also work close with him even if he is with the feeder team?

As reported by Dannycrusoe there is a new competition for feeder teams. Don't you think taking part in that competition, where he would likely see more game action, be more beneficial to him than taking part in just drills and no action for a boy who is not even 15yrs old yet?

For his age I feel he needs to learn and grow with his mates.

thank you for this.

I read romance, i WRITE romance, I have WRITTEN romance for others. The general description for men, is dark, brooding looks. Just take a look at a romance novel cover and you will see a recurring theme

The phrase "tall, DARK and handsome' exists for a reason. It is general knowledge that women prefer darker toned men.

Do you know that Italian men are generally considered the sexiest of the white race because they are of a darker tone than other white people?

Like I said, such a topic would require another thread for extensive discussion. Anyone who was on Nairaland between 2007-2012 would have witnessed some deep arguments on this.

Those were the times this site had proper intellectuals from all parts of the world, not these days that there seem to have been an exodus of such people

you see !! That's y am crushing on you,
avnt meet a sweet, pretty lady like you in nairaland, who ca, boast of such C.V as yours,

LITERATURE, POLITICS, ROMANCE, SPORT, dia are some miss wich I dnt recall,
but wen will you continue those of you unfinished stories,

story aside, its time, to start getting ready to giv SIRMAJER a fight, grin grin grin

It is not about what i think, it is about the club. Players in feeder teams can sometimes be older than those on the main squad. Maybe they want him to learn from their best legs.

NPFL: LMC fines Gombe United N3.25million, bans fans
By Ifreke Inyang on May 13, 2017@dailypostngr

The League Management Company (LMC) has slammed a N3.25million fine on Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Gombe United,

following crowd trouble during Wednesday’s Match Day 19 rescheduled fixture against champions Enugu Rangers in Gombe.

Gombe officials and fans disrupted the game which ended 3-

The LMC announced the sanctions on their verified Twitter handle on Friday.

“The LMC has charged Gombe Utd for breaching the NPFL Framework and Rules in Wednesday’s game vs Rangers International.

“Gombe United breached NPFL rules after some of their supporters several times threw objects, including stones, towards the field of play in

which a Rangers player was struck.

“Some of Gombe United supporters encroached the technical area and field of play particularly in added time and at the end of the NPFL match.

“Gombe United also failed to control their officials, particularly those who occupied the technical area during the NPFL match.

“Gombe United have been further charged for their supporters’ assault on their team’s goalkeeper Emmanuel Fabiyi – an act capable of bringing the NPFL to disrepute.
“A fine of N1 million has been imposed on Gombe United for acts of throwing objects towards the field of play during the NPFL game.

“For acts of encroachment in the NPFL match, Gombe United have also been fined N1 million.

“Due to disturbances in the course of the NPFL match, Gombe Utd shall play their next two home matches behind closed doors.

“Gombe United will also bear the cost of medical treatment for goalkeeper Emmanuel Fabiyi who was assaulted by the club’s supporters.

“Gombe Utd are required to identify and ensure the persons who assaulted Fabiyi are apprehended and prosecuted. Failure incurs a fine of N25,000 per day until culprits are apprehended and charged to court.

Osimhen Marks Bundesliga Debut With Yellow Card As Wolfsburg Draw

By James Agberebi:

Young Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen made his long awaited Bundesliga debut for Wolfsburg in their 1-1 home draw against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Osimhen, who started on the bench, was introduced for Daniel Didavi in the 59th minute.

However, he was shown a yellow card in the 89th minute.

Osimhen, the top scorer at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2015, has been listed in Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr's 25-man squad for camping and a friendly against Corsica in France in May.

Jannik Vestergaard gave Monchengladbach the lead in the 24th minute.

But Mario Gomez equalised for Wolfsburg in the 58th minute.

The game was halted close to 25 minutes due to a heavy downpour.

The draw leaves Wolfsburg in15th position on 37 points in the league table and just two points away from the relegation zone.

Ogbeche never scored over 20 goals in a season. Right now, calls for his invitation are justified. It is for Onyekuru to prove himself when he is finally invited.

We can't compare ourselves with brazil of that Era.. Mario Jardel at his prime could not hold down a shirt for Brazil at that time. Strangely enough, in the last world cup, they'd have done anything to have a striker of Jardel's quality. Even Elber could not play regularly.

Nigeria does not have that much talent that are obviously better than Onyekuru. Simon Moses, Ahmed Musa, Iwobi etc play the same position as Onyekuru. He can certainly compete with these players.

your comment is quite lengthy
are u saying the dude should not be invited all because of not altering team chemistry?
for goodness sake....rohr just signed in as SE manager... he is still building a team..
so Henry...should be tried and see if he can fit in.
you don't shun a good player at this time all because u don't wanna alter team chemistry..... chemistry that is not there yet.

Promising Nigerian Defender Named In Manchester United Squad To Face Tottenham Hotspur

Promising Nigerian right back Matthew Olosunde, hailed as the next Dani Alves, has been handed another opportunity to make his first-team bow for Manchester United by manager Jose Mourinho.
The versatile youngster has been included in a provisional 21-man squad for the trip to N17 0AP, where the Red Devils will square off against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
Last week, the same scenario happened as Olosunde was in London with the first team for the tie against Arsenal, but eventually failed to make the match day squad.
Mourinho rates the United States youth international highly as he invited him to train with the first team before their Europa League meeting against Celta Vigo on Thursday.
The 19-year-old Olosunde played for Manchester United reserves in their 2-2 draw with Arsenal in a Premier League 2 encounter on Monday.
Whether or not he makes his debut against Spurs, everything is pointing to the fact that the teenager will train with the first team during the pre-season.

First goal, he was fouled in the box. He dusted himself and put the penalty away in the top right hand corner.

Second goal, He placed his shot first time from a free kick. Brilliantly taken.

u are hash,u would invite him(onyekuru) and hoping for him to flop? So that u r justified of ur ogbeche's misadventure assertion in SE .
How do u then invite players to the senior national team,it's it not based on current form and performance in your club again? and that your Ronaldo Elder scenario is far different from what we r seing in SE,do we have someone of Ronaldo's pedigree and still clamoring for Oneykuru to come and bench him. Do u think that Dybala will suddenly start benching Messi without proper integration to the team, no because of Messi's pedigree in world football.
By the way how do u know that Oneykuru is not going to deliver, he is just 19 or so,while Elder was like 27 yrs then. So ur point is we shouldn't bother inviting him because he plays for eupen. Though he will not remain there for long anyways.
