It shows that hoping that Osibanjo would be a better, more educated leader than buhari is a fools's errand.
He is as incompetent, and would without fail uphold the same old order and the same old style. He is also characteristically dull and has no mind of his own.
He does not have the balls to bring the required change or to break up the old fulani shackle- hold on our polity.

DrGoodman:
How do we stop hopeless fuuls from getting to power?

Is it that Osinbade cannot understand English or he is just daft?

Who told him anything about any war anywhere?

This man is worse in senility than Buhari.
xcolanto:

I think we are somewhat on the same page here. Indeed the current Fulani/Yoruba government would rather have a war than let the Igbo's go but this refreerandum we seek for would be conducted on the supervision of the UN, AU and other credible bodies and that way the government of the day cannot implement a war like situation to such a harmless venture.

Isn't is surprising therefore that osinbajo who should be able to think outside this mafia is towing the same route as them? Anyways the coordinator is only reading a script prepared for him by the cabal that's bent on preserving this fraud by lugard.
Eyah! I feel like crying right now.. Osibanjo just broke the heart of ipods this afternoon. .sorry eh take heart

I don't care either way, but the fact is if Biafra agitates, there will be war because of resources. Fair or not, just saying
Which resources?I thought igboland has no natural resources.

So you mean Yorubas must say things the way Hausas wants it? So Yorubas are really the slaves of Hausa-Fulani? So the way the Hausas see it is how it is to a Yoruba man?

An outstanding piece of advice from the VP. I have always said it before, only fools will not learn from history. Even if some of us are not born then, we can surely pick up books and read on event of things. It is quite unfortunate that many people whip sentiments and emotions instead of using logics

Like they always say, a word is enough for the wise

Osibanjo must be reading a script from his Fulani slave masters! Being a lawyer he should be familiar with the UN deceleration on the right to self determination and the African charter on the right to preserve a culture, people and tribe if need be.
Am highly disappointed in his shallow reasoning on a global matter (refreerandum) that is sweeping the world at a time the Scotts and Britain are looking to break away through diplomatic means.

This is 2017 and no war would be required for a people to choose how they wish to be govern and how they live. angry

That you don't have s sense of history is not an insult but a statement of fact .

I have taken the pain to extract an important pparagraph from the documented history of the fulani herdsmen carnage

"Large scale violence erupted on September 7,
2001 when the palpable tension between
Christians and Muslims led to the Jos riots in
which over 1,000 people were killed in a week.
Nigerian government investigative committee
found that between September 2001 and May
2004, the conflict resulted in the deaths of
53,787 individuals."

thenationonlineng.net/breaking-the-cycle-of-revenge/
I'm not talking about tension btw Christians and Muslims, I'm talking about Fulani herdsmen killing unarmed Christians in southern kaduna dis is different to what happened in jos

You guys get so worked up and emotional about Biafra. I understand the aspirations for Biafra. All I say is take action. Be men for once. Don't hide behind the mantra of a sterile agitation and pointless verbal exchanges on the Internet and be feeling macho. Grow some balls and do something beyond mere multiplication of verbiage.
You, tell me Mr agitator, which areas do you intend your Biafra to encompass?

One part wants to break away, the other sides refuse. Isn't that the formula for civil war? People are quoting peaceful referendum up and down, ignoring the fact that these issues have been settled mostly through civil wars of the last 3 centuries.

Igboland doesn't and is land locked. Biafra (which is claimed to include Rivers, Delta, among others) does have resources.

Of course, the argument whether Delta and Rivers should be Biafra is a seperate one

They're asking for an exit, which is 10000000% their right. Referendum is a right, not a privilege.

But what the VP is thinking about is war. Britain didn't fight with EU to exit. Scotland nko? Etc. A guy of his caliber should call for Referendum instead of sounding the trumpet of war which only exists in his head.

Bro, the Igbos have learnt, but the rest of Nigeria, including the VP, has not learnt from history.

The Igbos are doing all they can to leave. Please is it by force to remain in a nation?

Even Texas and California were once calling for their exit from USA. It's not a big deal bro.

Why on earth should the VP be the one to call for a referendum? shocked Is he the one that wants to leave Nigeria? What are all the elected representatives in your state house of assemblies, Federal House of Reps as well as the Senate, doing? Are they sleeping? That is their job, nah... cheesy
