History have it that you had always been a conquered slave, Igbos have never been conquered.so shut your trap and mind your business, we don't need your rotten and evil advice from a mere Hausa mouthpieces

I'm not in the same level with you when it comes to historical knowledge of west Africa. So I won't even welcome a discussion or argument from you

For your enlightenment, google Arochukwu, Ibini Ukpabi and its role in transatlantic slavery and learn how Ibibio and Akpa people sold millions of Igbo as slaves

Tell me how they are going about asking for an exit? Who have asked for a referendum. The only people recognized by law are those elected, let those be in the forefront, not those unrecognized riff-raffs

Let the World Igbo Congress (for example) and other reputable Igbo bodies take over.
Even a blind man can see that they're asking for exit but are almost giving up because the attention they need from the International community ain't coming that much.

The elected leaders don't give a fvck and you know that very well.

You may call those on the street riff raffs, but that won't stop them for standing for something worth standing for.

All the referendums across the globe started with the people you call "riff raffs"; they started with the nonentities but ended with the elites. The elites are now getting involved in this their struggle too bro (which is usually the final stage of every struggle).

That's how every single revolutionary move begins. It begins with those who are tagged "riff raffs", because they're the ones who are in the best position to feel the degree of societal drifts. The so called elected leaders don't feel shît and we all know that. So long as the elected leaders collect their fat paychecks and build their big mansions and send their kids to the Ivy Leagues, they're cool. They're at ease bro. They don't give a single fvck on the planet. To them, all that matters is their fat paychecks.

The "riff raffs", as you tag them, are the ones who know how hot or cold the societal temperature is; they're the ones who know how terrible the societal drift is. Bro they're the real citizens, by the time you look at it critically.

PS: I don't give a fvck about Biafra or Arewa or whatever other movement out there. I only look at things objectively and give my take on them and then I fvck off because I don't really give a single fvck bro.

Igboland doesn't and is land locked. Biafra (which is claimed to include Rivers, Delta, among others) does have resources.

Of course, the argument whether Delta and Rivers should be Biafra is a seperate one[/quote
Good. You can ask your govt to start negotiating for an igboland only Biafra. If that was the disposition of osibanjo, i wouldn't fault him.
That is actually the best fit for biafra, if homogeneity, social order and rapid national development is the end-game for biafran leaders.
In the mean time, move the oil companies away currently drilling for oil in abia and Imo.

Sometimes people say things that doesn't make sense. As an Igbo man, I believe that let biafra be the last resort if restructuring fails, but i don't know whether you are being hypocritical or being stupid. They are leeches, sit their ugly asses down in other people's land, they don't reason normally, and You lots will relocate whether you like it or not, all are your words. If may ask you what really do you all want from Igbos? They want to leave voluntarily for their Biafra for you to have your land back you all are resisting but what you want is drive them away does that make any sense?

Why on earth should the VP be the one to call for a referendum? shocked Is he the one that wants to leave Nigeria? What are all the elected representatives in your state house of assemblies, Federal House of Reps as well as the Senate, doing? Are they sleeping? That is their job, nah... cheesy
Bro calling for referendum is actually a way of kinda settling a fight or dispute. It doesn't mean that he's for or against their exit. It simply means that he's acting as the referee. Everyone knows that referendum is just about the parties involved voting on whether they support the move or not.

All he has to do is alert and lobby the House of Assembly and reps on conducting a referendum, and see how it goes.

If I become the president of Nigeria today (which I do not want at all), the first thing that I will seek for is a referendum on this Biafra shìt.

Or maybe they're scared of the Igbos leaving Nigeria.

It shows that hoping that Osibanjo would be a better, more educated leader than buhari is a fools's errand.
He is as incompetent, and would without fail uphold the same old order and the same old style. He is also characteristically dull and has no mind of his own.
He does not have the balls to bring the required change or to break up the old fulani shackle- hold on our polity.

Besides, he didnt sound educated at all. Looking at all the developed nations, one can see easily, that they are all homogeneous. One people, one language. Anywhere you have different tongues, they serve as fault lines.

As developed as Canada is, the French speaking Quebec, has always threatened to go its way at every opportunity.

Our languages are the distinctions put in place by nature to differentiate us, through nurture.

Osibanjo must be reading a script from his Fulani slave masters! Being a lawyer he should be familiar with the UN deceleration on the right to self determination and the African charter on the right to preserve a culture, people and tribe if need be.
Am highly disappointed in his shallow reasoning on a global matter (refreerandum) that is sweeping the world at a time the Scotts and Britain are looking to break away through diplomatic means.

This is 2017 and no war would be required for a people to choose how they wish to be govern and how they live. angry
Did you bother to look at section 2(1) of the Constitution?...its obvious u did not, I would have told you what it says but I leave it as an assignment so u don't talk rubbish next time...U said Scots and Britain...here its Nigerians and who??
