He now said now you are talking, tell the lady to get us a bottle of red label nd take dis small boys alcohol away from here, when he said red label I got angry dis is wat i scared of, it's not dat I cannot pay for it but I was scared of being exploited by him. I said red label sir and he said yes or don't you know red label again I said I do but I just wanted to be sure of wat you said, he laughed and said you are a big boy naw so a bottle of red label won't do harm to your stashed cash would it i reluctantly said no nd took the bottle of away from them, gave it to the barman nd told him to get them a bottle of red label. I ordered a bottle of Guinness for myself then walked back to the table to join my team, immediately kizzo asked wat happened nd I told him, he got angry and said why would he order for such expensive bottle dat i shouldn't have bought it for them, i told him not to worry dat I know wat to do. My drink came and I started drinking then my phone rang....

I quickly removed it from my pocket thinking it was my Lara but it wasn't, it was damy calling me. I reluctantly picked up nd she said hi nd asked hw I was doing, I answered nd asked how she has been. Dat was when she started telling me that have forgotten her and have made new friends dat I no longer have her tym, I was trying to make her see reasons before she cut me off and asked if she could come join me nd I was like join me where, she said I should turn around and when I did I saw her sitting across close to the end of the wall, I was just suddenly weak like which kind bad market be dis. I quickly faked a smile nd asked her how long she had been there nd she said not long, she den repeated her question again if she could come join me, I tot about it for a sec since there was no sign of my hun coming around nd I don't wanna be the only guy on the table without a girl looking lost so I told her to come over and her face lit up.... I went back to my table nd continued conversing with damy, soon after the bigle was blown nd we all have to leave for our various hostels i saw her off the way that led to her hostel and we called it a night. The chilling was cool, I was more happy for William and kizzo cuz they got wat they wanted, my night would have been more dope is she was around but I guess you can't always get wat you wanted. I headed back to my hostel to meet up with the guyz nd immediately i steeped in they were all praises especially from William, he was very very happy for the first time since we came to camp nd I was glad i was able to help. Hopped on my bed and before the natural cause of nature will pull me into the other world of unconscious sleep I decided to try lara's number again but it was still switched off.... Wat could have happened...

am finally done with camp.the experience was OK.I still didn't see the over hype about the Mami market. it just came alive at night. and most nights, I was always so tired I just wanted to eat and go to sleep.if I was to write about my experience there,e no go long reach your own Abeg.

My dear everyone cannot have the same experience! For me delta state orientation camp was dope, maybe because of the kind of friends I made nd I was with enough money to get wat ever I wanted, plus I met with Lara who changed everything nd made camp worthwhile for me and my guyz. Woke up this next morning, did the normal rituals nd went to the parade ground, met Lara and told her everything about last night, about how I wanted her to chill out with us and how I tried her number about a dozen times. She said her phone charging port was bad nd dat I should accompany her to see if she could get it repaired, we were at the Mami nd she met a guy nd told him wat happened, the guy said he's going to take it to town and get it fixed that we should come later in the evening. So we went to have our breakfast and later met up with William and kizzo, we chilled under a three nd we were all conversing and all wat has been going on in camp, nd where we would like to get posted to, nd how's life going to be after camp, we promised ourselves that if we get separated from each other that we must see each other at least once every month, like a get together and have fun. We have like 4 days to the end of camp nd by this time if you are a single guy or a single girl nd you have not gotten hooked up yet that means there is either a problem or it is you dat don't wanna get hooked up. 4 days to the end of camp you get to see corpers in pairs holding hands with love in their eyes, there is a saying that goes ( what camp has joined together, posting letter would put assunder). We all know the time is short but most of ppl can't help but to meet their partners, some might even fall in love, some meet their life partners in camp, so that's just how it is. Before that day have been thinking about something which I think is possible nd if it works out it would be great for me and my guyz. We are like a pair nd we have gotten so used to each other and I don't want us to get separated from each other, so I made some enquiries nd was told it is possible for the 3 of us to get posted to the same place but it would cost us more money. I called the guyz nd told them about my plan and they said it's dope, dat if we eventually get posted to the same place it will be good for us, we would just pull resources together and rent a 2bedroom flat nd everyone will be comfortable. So i was linked up to a female Nysc staff that would be able to help us get posted to the same place, word going on in camp was that the good places that you can get posted to is either Asaba the state capital, Warri, or Sapele. And from wat have been hearing its like most people are going for the Asaba parole cuz it's like the hotcake, so i thought we shouldn't be like everyone else so I told My guyz that we should work ours to Sapele which is also a good place and they all agreed. I was linked up with the woman I met her we discussed nd she said it would be suspicious if the 3 of us to be posted to the same place just like dat, that she can put 2 in Sapele nd the last one in warri and that it would cost us 6k each. I told her that we wanted to make sure we were all in the same place, she said she would try her best, then she wrote down our details and she asked when she was going to get her money nd I told her the next day. I also warned her not to mess with us that if she knows the level is not legit she should let me know here and now, she got angry and started say that she is legit. I said fine nd I walked out, went back to meet my guyz and told them of the situation on ground and kizzo said Mitch I trust you but are you sure that she is legit, cuz I don't want to drop that six grand nd at the end of the day we would be scattered nd get posted to different places. Mostly the riverine areas I hate those places, I told him to calm down that before we give her the money that I will still ask around about how legit she is and we concluded. Then i thought about Lara and I quickly gave her a call to meet me in our favorite spot that I have something important to tell her nd she said okay that she's coming... She met me up and said wat up, I told her of my plans with me and the guyz to get posted to the same place and I told her that I want her to come with us, that I would love us to get posted to the same place, she said she has also been thinking about it and that Baba for the girls have also been asking her where she wants him to post her to nd dat she has not yet given him an answer yet and I was like seriously this is like the best thing this dude wants to do for you at least, nd i said Bae just tell him that you would like to get posted to Sapele since me and the guys are working on going there, she killed my moral when she said she's not sure nd that she would like to think about it or she might just leave it to faith and still get posted to a good place, and I was like bby dis is an opportunity most people in camp don't have, or don't you want to get posted to the same place as me? She said she wants to put she just want to think about it, i said okay but remember that there is no time. We got separated nd agree to to meet up later in the day, nd dat day was the final match for the volleyball game and also the football match for the guyz, my platoon has been knocked out in the semi finals so we were out. And that same in the night was the Mr and miss camp nd also indomie was hosting a dance competition nd so much more, the end of camp was near and I am beginning to feel it, dat weird and awkward feeling you have when something so cool and enjoying wants to come to an end...
