chybaz: Travel history or no travel history hat nothing to do with your refusal or issuance of TRV. If any applicant is our has been denied base on travel history, it won't just be the reason alone. Travel history denial is an accompanying reason for visa denials. If your application is void of any error, you stand a good chance of getting your TRV. |

SamReinvented:Actually, this is not COMPLETELY correct. While i agree that VFS help in handling application, this is ONLY for the initial stage of it. Their duty is largely to arrange documents, verify each is signed and filled correctly and then transmitted to the embassy on the next business day through courier. They DO NOT participate in any INTERNAL assesment. VAC do NOT issue visas. It is strictly the responsibility of the embassy to approve a study permit application and issue visas to citizens that require a TRV to travel to canada. Also, the process from visa application to how it is handled and returned back to the applicant is always on the appropraite websites. Even IRCC have stated key areas they look out for when reviewing each applications including the stipulation of the IRCC acts and regulation which is made known to the public. The discretionary part of the visa officers on each application is the only part no one can ascertain. |

shollayma247:You should do some initial research. Nobody will tell you schools to apply to. Are you going for postgraduate or undergraduate study? What course did you study? When did you finish school? What is your proposed course. Use all this information and imput it into google, i am sure you will get schools and programs you can apply to. |

Good morning house. Pls which is better to go for. A one year college pgd cert or a two years msc cert. I have both admissions but my pals in Canada are complaining that getting a job after msc is difficult than when u just have a pgd cert. Plus msc is like more expensive than pgd. Pls reply. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by maziude: 3:24am On May 29, 2017 |
chybaz: You have a good grade, go for msc, it is worth it. 2 years from now is a lot of time, be positive. If you choose pgd, you will have to explain to the VO with big big grammar, why you are doing pgd instead of msc since you already have a bsc. But, then it depends on what your goals are, the decision lies with you. |

Mehn...This list is pretty long, IMHO, i think the response time/rate from CIC this year has been really poor, I mean I don't know if am off point here but this list is proof don't you think. All I was familiar with was the 8-10 weeks thingy even when the processing time was way longer. The only two explanable reasons I could think of is perhaps increase in immigrants application to Canada due to Trump's unfriendly immigration rhetorics (IRCC must be experiencing a surge in application rate right now) and possibly the recent Nigeria's Foreign exchange crisis (which I think has been a lil bit stable lately). Anything else, I think this new 'pattern' is just unusual and worrisome to say the least. I wish there was someone in authority we could email or something. vinci500: Bro, I think paper route is faster now. Response time is not more than 8wks for paper route except in some exceptional cases. |
