Please I have just been approved and kindly you help me with instructions on how to apply to Visa now and the Documents Required. Thanks adeniyibolanle: |
Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by adeniyibolanle(m): 3:57pm On Sep 08, 2016 |
Ono757:OK that shows you will get your admission and accommodation letter soon (Letter for visa from your school). For the application for visa, you are going to need of cos your international passport, photocopy of admission letter, police report at least for 3 months, traveling insurance covering 6 months (30,000 euros) i can direct you to someone in Abuja who works for insurance company and he is going to help you get because there are specifically types of insurance you use and not anyhow insurance. This is normally pasted in front of the embassy gate. Also passport photograph 4-8 copies. And of cos sponsor's bank statement, a sworn affidavit in the high court that he or she will sponsor you throughout you education period in the Country and additional document that can help to boast your chances |

Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by tlk2Prince(m): 12:33pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
Ono757: Hey Bro! i am very happy for you. Just one question, How did you get to this point? If someone helped you all the way to getting your admission then your question about "Instructions on how to apply for Visa now and the documents required" is worth it. BUT If you did everything yourself by following the procedures here or from the school then i see no reason why you should ask Adeniyi for instructions. So it is not worth it Bro Now come to think of it, things could have changed in the Bulgarian Embassy or possibly from their MFA on the procedures and or documents for application of D-Visa for study. Better still, if you need help, ask for anyone who has recently applied for D-Visa and try to know the additional documents because i am sure the required documents for Visa is always available on the page of the Embassy for every applicant to see. I am not trying to make you look bad because of your question, believe me i understand you. But i IMPLORE you to do more by by visiting the Bg embassy directly or online to know all you want.... Welcome to Bulgaria and try to save more Bro. You are gonna need every penny you can get............... |

neverever10:tnks for a detailed first hand experience about Bulgaria. I was actually thinking of Austria bf I stumbled on Bulgaria. I am enticed by the fact u said life is cheap there. But if I were to ask, how did you see Austria in terms of hussling and study? Do you think it's a place one can stay behind after studies? I know this is not a thread about Austria but since you mentioned u went to renew ur visa there, I was expecting maybe you might v a lille clue about life there. |

Hello, I'm currently trying to get admission into a medical school in Bulgaria. I believe I need to legalize my O levels (WAEC) results, medical certificate and submit my application form with my CV but a few things are confusing which include legalizing in Ministry of Education and foreign affairs here in Nigeria and some schools are saying they don't accept the documents by mail can anyone in Bulgaria help me out with infos on this process and also the process of translation. I will also bd glad if I can get advice on which universities I should aplly to |
Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by Nobody: 11:13pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
abiolaoluseguno: You will legalise your academic docs at ministry of education, then all docs at ministry of foreign affairs, then also legalise at Bulgarian ministry. Finally translation but at the moment no govt approved be translation agency in Nigerian So you will send your docs by courier to bg, for translation then submission at your school. |

Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by heybaby12(f): 5:26pm On May 29, 2017 |
@lyfreezone @cowleg @jimmy @ prince my school didn't ask for transcripts just certificate. My question now is will MOE ask for transcripts before certifying or my university certificate is all they would need. And for the waec is it the original they need or the one given to u by your school. Thanks |
Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by Nobody: 2:16am On May 30, 2017 |
heybaby12:They won't ask you of transcript at moe, its what you give then they will certify. If you are going for masters they don't need your waec. |
Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by Nobody: 2:25am On May 30, 2017 |
Before the university will submit your application to Bulgarian ministry of education and science, you have to submit the following to national council for information and documentation for recognition and certification of your degree. The application is made for you to nacid. See requirements for the recognition. RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN DEGREES AND QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should submit the following documents: Application for recognition of foreign degree or qualification . Original or a certified copy of the diploma in compliance with the Procedure for Notarial or Apostille Certification. Original or certified copy of the Diploma Supplement (Academic Transcript) in compliance with the Procedure for Notarial or Apostille Certification. Photocopy of the first page of your passport or other identification documents with your names in Latin script, date and place of birth. Document certifying changes in the applicant's name if any (with translation, if in a foreign language) Other documents which the applicant may consider relevant to the requested recognition (original of European Diploma Supplement, if any, etc.) Documents under points 2 and 3 must be legalized, translated and certified in accordance with the international treaties between Bulgaria and the country of issuance of respective documents. When there are no such provisions, the process must follow the general procedure for legalization, translation and certification of documents and other papers. Translations of legalized documents must be certified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. Where do I submit my application? Submit your application for recognition and supporting documents to the International Relations Office, Building 1, Office 206, NBU. Your application for recognition will be reviewed by the Committee for Recognition of Foreign Degrees and Qualifications. The recommendation of the Committee will be put to vote at a regular meeting of NBU’s Academic Council. The outcome or decision will be communicated to you by the Secretary of the Recognition Committee. Nb nacid will verify your degree in Nigeria directly to your school registra via email and you will pay for it. Once the recognition and certification is done, your school apply for your admission at Bulgaria ministry of education and science. If ministry gives you invitation letter, you apply for visa. |

Good morning guys, Cowleg just said it all. But please wen going to MOE I advise you take ur original waec with u. They normally ask for it. U will be asked to pay whether N800 to print out ur waec result at MOE. Note:ur original certificate of waec is asked to be presented even if u want to legalize ur degree certificate. |

Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by heybaby12(f): 1:35pm On May 30, 2017 |
Sorry please, the certificate is it the one printed online, or the one issued by waec to your school. (or either) @favourmic my school also asked me to pay full fees, once approved by the Bulgarian board. Then they would issue a "visa package " . |
Re: STUDY IN BULGARIA by Iyfeezone: 3:39pm On May 30, 2017 |

This is what the embassy asked for wen applying for visa Admission letter from the ministry of science in Bulgaria Admission letter from the school u applied Accommodation letter from the school Travel insurance Police report 1 passport Application form filled International passport with photocopy Bank statement NOTE - payment of schools depends on the school applied for.
