Abagworo: I have read his profile online and it is very impressive, he is a trained economist. If he happens to be the next governor I just hope he is not going to be a boy-boy to rochas and other politicians or be intimidated due to his age. However, the decision lies on the electorates, there might be someone better than him. Its good the younger generation put those old men in their place (as advisers). |

Incredibleme: In Igboland it's impossible for anyone to remain your "boy-boy". Just check the history. Peter Obi > Willie Obiano Orji Kalu > Theodore Orji Chimaraoke Nnamani > Sullivan Chime Sullivan Chime > Gburugburu If Rochas Okorocha succeeds in handing over to this man then he is wise. I have a strong feeling that why Onyeagocha fell out with Okorocha is because of a foreknowledge of Uneze being Okorocha's favorite. 1 Like |

OMANBALA1: A state governor Okorocha, opened his mouth and said 70% of allocations to Imo is buried in Owerri to beautify the city. This is impeachable offence, but Okorocha handpicked most of the Imo State legislators last election. Even at that, some people don't see that the gods are after the governor. Abnormal. Truth is: because of Okorocha's hatred for the name Orlu, he decided to bury Imo state's and its local government allocations in Owerri; instead of providing for the 27 lgas of the state for which he is constitutionally bound, and for which he was elected. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by kikake: 5:28am On Jun 02, 2017 |
Rochas Okorocha, a governor who placed hate for Orlu first on his office table, and is ready to give up politics because of hate. Even a year ago, Okorocha's Deputy from Owerri was apparently disturbed during an interview with Vanguard, why the governor was burying more than 75% of the state's income in Owerri. Okorocha is fast closing the chances of his party in the state with his most hate-field and parochial governance system. In 2015, he was allowed a second chance because people wanted him to complete the projects he started. But most of the projects, especially roads, remain abandoned outside the state capital. |

Abagworo: 27 new general hospitals were Okorocha's formula to destroy the Imo state University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH) Orlu. Six years after, he has destroyed IMSUTH, now barely functions as a School of Nursing. No general hospital in most of Imo state. Early act of Okorocha as governor was set up a committee to examine why and how a sports stadium was built in Orlu by Udenwa govt. The committee hardly finished sitting when Okorocha govt dismantled the stadium. Campaign period approaches now, the stadium is being re roofed. Every govt thing in Orlu is in ruins -courtesy of Rochas Okorocha. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 11:43am On Jun 02, 2017 |
kikake: Biko you can tell those lies to others not me. The Teaching Hospital you see today was virtually built by Okorocha. Udenwa built a poultry farm as Teaching hospital but Okorocha has changed the face to several multi storey complex. Even IMSU was like a glorified secondary school but visit IMSU today and compare. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by kikake: 12:25am On Jun 03, 2017 |
Abagworo: Show your truthfulness with verifiable statistics on pre-medical students admitted to Imo state University, Owerri in the last two years; show your truthfulness with verifiable statistics on clinical students admitted to Imo state University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH) Orlu, in the last two years, to buttress any claim that IMSUTH still functions as training ground for doctors. Yes, some structures were built at IMSUTH under Okorocha's administration, but what for? For School of Nursing which Okorocha has literally reduced IMSUTH to? In five years, the roads to IMSUTH remain either scrapped by Okorocha govt and abandoned, or dilapidated. Every effort by stakeholders, including students protest, to have Okorocha govt repair the main and dilapidated 1Km road to IMSUTH fell on deaf ears till today 1 Like |

This is the road to IMSUTH Orlu, as one is coming from Owerri to IMSUTH. It is called old Owerri road, Orlu. It has been scrapped and abandoned like this by Okorocha govt for about 5 years. It is about 5km from Nkwume Y-Junction through Umuowa to Car wash junction, then to IMSUTH. The objective of Okorocha govt is to ruin IMSUTH. 2 Likes

This is the Amaigbo road end of the dilapidated road passing in front of Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Orlu. It has been like this since five years. All pleas to Gov. Okorocha to repair the 1km road has fallen on deaf ears. In the last five years, only a most helpless patient would try to pass that road to IMSUTH, especially during the rainy season. 2 Likes

legislatively: You are lying. Nothing like this existed in 2012 when I passed their last. That place was complete bush and the building doesn't look abandoned as bonding is ongoing. If bonding and internal painting is completed then the building is 100% ready remaining landscaping and equipping. No other State can boast of 27 of these built by Government in the last 5 years. |

legislatively: What's your definition of abandonment? You can only term a project abandoned when for some years there's no work on site. I passed there last in 2012 and nothing existed there at Umulolo but I passed recently and noticed an almost completed magnificent structure. I am in the best position to judge not a regular user. |

kikake: We argued this 2 years ago and I won. Let me make it clear to you that APC will sweep Imo in 2019. The federal positions rigged by PDP in 2015 will be rightfully taken by APC. There is no opposition in Imo State now and not even in the near future. Most of those writing thrash in blogs, Vanguard, Premium times are just few hundred people employed by Ohakim and Ihedioha to attack Okorocha because of jealousy. Ihedioha is even wiser and has backpedaled for good. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 7:20am On Jun 04, 2017 |
Abagworo: IMSUTH is flanked by two federal roads in Orlu urban centre. Eastern Palm University Ogboko is in a remote village without any linking federal or state road, except the Orlu-Akokwa road that fails nearly every year. In your Akwa Ibom state, is it only one governor that starts building a huge project like university teaching hospital, and completes it? Clown, continue to entertain only yourself and few pigs like you. Eastern Palm University, who owns it? Unless IMHA makes a law establishing it as Imo state property, it may end up Imo state's biggest zoo, if you don't know. For now, Okorocha is in power, he doesn't seem to understand the type of current flowing outside Douglas House. 2 Likes |

kikake: These Orlu-this, Orlu-that people are so annoying. Stop ranting here, will you?! When Rochas comes out for another elective position, don't vote for him. Stop filling up this thread with irrelevant comments nobody is interested in. You lots talk as though Orlu was the only LGA/zone in Imo. In a state of 27 LGAs and the governor is concentrating his development strides on one, you should know that the other 26 LGAs are affected, yet you don't see their people coming here to rant every second apart from Orlu. Here's a piece of advice: if Rochas refuses to develop your Orlu, pool your resources together and help yourselves - that's what people from the remaining 25 LGAs are doing right now. Please you Orlu lots should give us some peace here! |

Abagworo: Imo state university teaching hospital boomed before Okorocha came to office. You mean: Okorocha can neglect or even kill the teaching hospital, but build his Police hospital and university in his home town? You mean: People Igwemmadu who contributed to establish the university teaching hospital Orlu, shall watch Okorocha Police hospital and Eastern university Ogboko survive? Una never see something. 2 Likes |
