Aguila:Yes depending on the school, that's what they usually refer to as winter admission |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by mcobex: 8:11pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
Aguila:Very possible, but check ur intended school and program for more details cos some programs don't have January intake while some do. |

calfy: There's no categorical pronouncement about the quoted. It has only affected few people. I have read about so many people that were granted TRV without having to show proof of fund transfer. Hope to join you at Concordia in winter, Industrial and Production Engineering Dept |

Very quick question house and gurus My full first year tuition is $15,780 CAD which was what I filled in the funds transfer form in my bank from here in Nigeria.... After much much the school sent me RECEIPT quoting that amount received was $15,551 CAD which approximately remains $300 CAD to complete for the whole year fees quoted in my LOA probably because of the exchange rate or a few factors MY QUESTION : Can I use this submit this receipt as evidence of payment of tuition fee for the first year? Hope I have not misrepresented anything sha? Cc: @austinepee4 @maziude @yemdogg @nelly28 @mcobex |

Thanks Fam. Like any one here, I can only speculate if it may or may not have effect on your application. But I would say don't give room for any doubt in your application. If you can get it, just do. All the best Hmy2015: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by mcobex: 10:03pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
phemmzy96:anyone? pls tey and be specific and direct with ur question. but anyone that wants to sponsor u must state his/her reason for wanting to do that and the visa officer must be convinced. another way to convince the visa officer is b for the "anyone" to pay ur tuition fee and also send ur living expenses ( atleast $cad10,000) into ur naija bank akant |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by abelajayi(m): 10:06pm On Jun 06, 2017 |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:09pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
CanadianNurse:I do not think a deficit of 300CAD would be an issue and there is no case of misrepresentation in any sense. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by CanadianNurse: 10:13pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
Austinpee4:although I paid a deposit and the request for letter of assurance from Bank and full school fees came... In other to fulfill the conditions required of me to pay in full... Just hope $300 deficit doesn't become an issue overnight cic can act action film In all I remain positive |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:15pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
phemmzy96:Anybody can sponsor you. More to any statement of sponsorship, your sponsor should show a good level of commitment by transferring the equivalent of your tuition +10,000CAD while also be prepared to respond to any further instruction from the embassy to give assurance from the bank that said funds can be exported. An affidavit of sponsorship should be included too if your sponsor is a 3rd party. i.e not a relation. So make sure there is funds for your study and not just having a sponsor. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 10:18pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
CanadianNurse:If it bother you much, you can expain in the mail you will send in response about the deficit, the charges and how you intend to make sure the 300CAD is paid. Like some1 mentioned, include the telex copy of the transaction if you have it. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by andre99(m): 10:24pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
To avoid stories that touch, why not get someone in Canada to pay the $300 to ur student account in the skool, transfer the equivalent amount in naira to the person, print out the receipt and attach to the initial deposit receipt u got, my little advise though. You might not be able to predict them. CanadianNurse: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by CanadianNurse: 10:30pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
andre99:Ok will do |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by bosbebe: 11:23pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
You should be able to us this. I had similar situation due to exchange difference and it was stated on my letter that the balance will be payable upon resumption. I didn't like the fact that the initial fee was not all cleared so I used my dollar card to pay the difference and requested for another statement from the school. If you can do this it will give you a clean payment schedule CanadianNurse: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by nelly28: 11:35pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
CanadianNurse: No Bro, it is not an issue, but since is jst $300, while not jst complete it, or beta stil d evidence of d CIC 10k u can make d $300 reflect dere. but dis not an issue or misrepresentation in which ever method u wish to tender. |
