we have better keepers in the Npfl. when we played Algeria it was very clear but we refused to see it.
SA studied our weak spot and used it very well, the Left back wing and a very weak goalie.

Allowing technical committee sit on call ups is the worst thing that can happen to Super eagles. What is the job of the coach if he cant pick his starting 22 after 1 year? He might as well quit! Technical committee comprising who? These people made Oliseh's life a living hell. Truth is they have their own agenda as well. How and where do we draw the line with respect to their duties? These people are responsible for the downfall of each and every coach that failed to perform. I say let the coach do his job. If not, then we should get a world class coach. With this one coach, we either sink or swim. It is our decision so lets stick with it. The same set of players if used rightly will deliver right results. So in my own books, the reason we lost was the coach and not his players or the ones he chose to invite.

I dont exactly know what the game plan was. Lobbing high balls to short strikers and hopin for pace is a little close to stupid in my view. 9 out of 10 times, our attack will be shut down. And thats what happened against South Africa. I dont wanna dwell on our defence line because if the midfield did their job as they should, there wouldnt be need for hassles with the back 4.
So final analysis, Rohr goofed big time with his approach.

I am a fan of attacking football. Attack the whole 90 mins. If u dont , u get tired, ur opponent starts feeling at home and they end up punishing you. And thats exactly what SA did. They know that we like putting balls in the net in opening 20mins and that once we dont get what we want, we start to fizzle out and so they held us out first half. The bafana coach assessed our players and found out that we didnt have physicality in our game . This was an interview i watched on Supersport 2days b4 our match. I remember the mandela challenge in south africa, the reason Nigeria won was physicality. And we need that in this current team. We need big strikers to partner someone like iheanacho. Otherwise, he will always be outmuscled as a lone striker upfront. He will need more than tap ins to get behind enemy lines. Which is why we shouldnt fool ourselves by saying Iheanacho is a 9. He is not and has never been.

He can score a couple of goals in that position but thats not his best place of strength. He thrives better when there is focus on another threat. I would prefer to call him a silent threat. For instance, no one has ever asked why iheanacho has not developed his dribbling skills, why he has not played from the wings. I remember when he broke into city 1st team and was played as a 10 in one of their pre season b4 guardiola, he could pass very well, he even scored a couple of goals in that position. Suddenly all that has faded. All because some baldiola wants him to either be 9 or sit it out.

If we were leading and needed to protect our 3points may be the red card could have been a worthy price.

Plus also Daniel Akpeyi is our most reliable goalie. Take that to the bank.
He is always available for action. If he received a red card, and knowing Ikeme's fitness level, you know we are in bigger trouble for our next game.

Akpeyi did his best to prevent that 2nd goal.

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray are reportedly few details away from signing Imoh Ezekiel from Qatari side Al-Arabi according to reports sourced by Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team.

Ezekiel is reportedly the main target of coach ‎Igor Tudor who according to babaspor has personally requested for the 23 year old who also confirmed his desire to return back to Europe.

i agree that if someone retires we should leave them, but these two guys are still willing and capable. Even Osaze is still looking for a call-up. Let me repeat what I said, Osaze would have offered more than Moses Simon on saturday, and Martins would have offered more than Iheanacho, should we shouldn't invite them because they are 32? Does that make sense? The world up is next year not next 3 years, they will still be 33 next year

CB kwa? You make me laugh. We were playing a freekick for Christ's sake and they are two of the tallest players we had, in every single team the DMF falls back. Even in Barca were Busquets is taller than Umtiti, Busquets still falls back, that's the DMF's work

I am judging based on what I see. Heard Adi was in camp once and due to some issues with some NFF topwigs he was dropped, his career is probably going to go down the drain so I left him out. And even he is inexperienced about the African game, what we are looking for is experience AKA tested and tusted players who can still perform and teach the younger lads.

I said ANY goalkeeper we have is better than Akpeyi. Guy wait, is it that you didn't see the first bar that they hit? A simple cross and catch that GKs do all day in training and the imposter of a gk failed, how is that in anyway a good GK?

that's y we will continue to fail, once. We saw a promising youngster, we jst discard our old reliable legs, all in the name them don old,

we need those old guards to show the youngsters how its being done, when the going get tougher,

so to my best knowledge, ENYEAMA, MARTINS,IGHALO,IDEYE,AMBROSE, ALUKO, even OSAZE, and some who I can't remember are still needed, to show those young exciting talent of ours how its being done

no 5, is good and ok, but we have ALAMPASU , and wee need a keeper like ENYEAMA, and a goalkeeper trainer like AMUSA ADISA, to mature and prepare the keepers for any task ahead
