Is he the best Ethiopian singer right now? Cos i have downloaded so many Ethiopian songs today n among all, his music stands out, especially one song he was singing about Ethiopia.

Others consider him among the greatest Ethiopian singer. But for me, he is the greatest ever of all. He wrote all his songs, he created all his melodies and his voice is excellent.

He love Ethiopia so much and even commented that Atse(emperor) Menelik II expansion to SW, S and SE was a great deed. This comment angered some unpatriotic Oromos and other south peoples.

Ethiopia is definitely heading somewhere.

But, it's not like you think. Most Ethiopians don't know their history very well because of poor education by the schools and less interest to know by them. I myself is almost a self taught in Ethiopia and general history.

I don't know them. Even if I like Ethiopian music, I don't know that much about the artist names.

I'm not good as Eskista. I wasn't taught about it from young age. It's a shame, but I will start to learn.

Since Addis is home to almost all Ethiopia ethnicities, Oromo, Tigray and Somalia musics are loved. But it isn't like Amhara songs. Afar and Harari musics are also great.

I like some Oromo, Afar and Harari musics.

What I'm saying is long before their recent migration. And this theory has been defined as a racist propaganda by the northern Ethiopians. Before their recent migration(1520s-1701) to west, south(southern Ethiopia and northern Kenya), east, north and further central, the Oromos original homeland was in Bale and Sidama(central Ethiopia).

There is also a theory that they came from Madagascar, but it's a lie.

I love Tanzanian musicians like Alikiba, Diamond, Vanessa mdee, Christian bella, Butera knowless, Rosa ree and a whole lot of them.

I can see that Tanzania has a very well developing music industry, far better than that of Kenya. But many Kenyans here have denied this repeatedly as obvious as it is. They claim that most of TZ artistes mostly base their music in Nairobi and started recording music success as soon as they started recording and shooting their songs in South Africa?
How true is this?
