BascoVanVeli: No one is blaming the striker. It is the system. When suggesting a striker, suggest one that you believe will suit the system. Rodgers going from Suarez to Benteke was nothing short of comedy. |

BascoVanVeli: One question would anytime in the EPL have bought the hitherto unknown Success for £10 million plus Highly rated in La Liga in a struggling team possibly the main man at Grenada but nowhere else. |

TheGoodJoe: Then why on earth did he buy him The fault wasn't the striker but the manager. |

komekn: When a team in England but Adama Traore, why would a team in England not but one of the promising La Liga youngsters for £10 million plus? Success ticked the right boxes and with consistent run, he will cause damage. Keep in mind that Atletico Madrid in recent years have been one of the top performing team in Europe. Why do you try to blind yourself from the truth so much? You are too sentimental. Success was going to Atletico Madrid. That is somewhere and even a better option than Watford. Granada refused to sell. Finito. 1 Like |

komekn: They would have had to pay more than Watford that's for sure. They see Success getting much better and being worth more in the future. Btw a kid comes from an academy in Nigeria and not only is he the main man but saves his team relegation from La liga and all u can do is drop salt on him? Wehdone Sir. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Do you need to include the bold Part to make your Point?! This is what we are saying..... alleging fellow Forumites recklessly won't take us to anywhere. You are a staunch Believer of Iheanacho's Potentials and City's Academy System. Also you can go to any Length (Sentiment) to defend him. Hence, does that make you a blind and biased Analyst as regard to any Discourse on Iheanacho?! 2 Likes |

Oasis007: I had to. I clearly stated that Atletico Madrid wanted to sign Isaac Success from Granada and he followed that with a statement that Isaac Success was going nowhere to promote his notion of Isaac joining Watford because of the relationship between Granada and Watford. That is too myopic and a clear case of bias. I do not distort facts if I am explaining a true situation that concerns players I believe in or do not trust. |

Oasis007: TheGoodJoe: I am not bias. If I see something wrong, I critique it. If I see something right, I praise it. I criticise Guardiola sometimes like when I was against his statement that he needs to buy goals. I believe if Guardiola gives Iheanacho a run, he will have goals. Guardiola should have said he wanted Goals that will fit his playing system seamlessly. I criticised the buying of Bony and Sterling. I recently got one of my post on Mcfc bluemoon forum deleted when I questioned the buying of Nolito. I said the buy lacked Ambition. I have defended and criticised Siasia. Praised and criticised Echiejile. |

komekn: What is publicity? Just say you did not follow the news at that time. Watford and Granada were ironing out the deal for Isaac Success. It was a done deal. The manager did not need any other deal to spice up any thing. He confirmed that Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan wanted Isaac Success but Watford was their preferred choice. So your publicity talk does not add up. Isaac Success was not just a promise of Granada but the La Liga. 1 Like |

Oasis007: Too sentimental is not an accusation. It is a fact. He is ready to go all length to paint a promising player bad, even if it means ignoring facts. This is just to promote players he is affiliated to. Did you not see how he tried to rubbish Everton signing Onyekuru? It was a well planned act he does. If you bring a report of another player doing well, he makes backhanded remarks like, we are not sure of the player's age. Sometimes when someone goes too far, we have to call it out especially when it is a clear case of bias. |

Nah WA ooooo, anoda argument, for those questioning the work permit and transfer of players into BPL, as per special talent, I know its cause of HENRY OYEKURU that brought about dis, as per I.SUCCESS, even J.IGHALO, those two doesn't play the require national quota to earn the transfer into BPL, , they are a constant for their respective clubs, a promising talent, and more from Italy to Spain,, as well playing for their clubs regularly barring injury, they are ripe for EUmenbership, plus the reason y GRENADE refuse to sell SUCCESS. To A.madrid, is cos they rate him highly, hence moving him around their family biz 2 Likes |

How Samuel Chukwueze’s move to Arsenal collapsed By Jamie Einchcomb - Jun 30, 2017 Nigerian starlet Samuel Chukwueze was all set to join Arsenal in 2016, but the deal unexpectedly collapsed. •Chukwueze was meant to join along with team-mate Kelechi Nwakali •A disagreement with Diamond Academy saw the deal collapse •Chukwueze is close to joining Villareal Back in 2016, Arsenal were close to complete the double signing of two exciting Nigerian prospects: Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze. The two impressed at the 2015 U17 World Cup and while Nwakali did join Arsenal, Chukwueze’s move collapsed. According to SCORENigeria, this was due to a disagreement with Chukwueze’s academy, Diamond Academy. Initially, Arsenal were going to pay £1.5m for the winger, with 10% of the fee up front and the rest paid after the player had turned 18 and signed professional terms with the club. However, Diamond Academy wanted 40% of that figure. Arsenal opted not to renegotiate as the Stellar Group, a London-based agent group that Arsenal had used to negotiate the deal, had already been burned once by the Diamond Academy during the Nwakali deal. The Diamond Academy were supposed to pay the Stellar Group 15.6% of Nwakai’s transfer fee, but have yet to honour the agreement. SCORENigieria believe this is the reason why Chukwueze’s move to Arsenal fell through. The winger is now expected to join Villareal for £500,000. |

Keep, Sell, Loan: Victor Moses' 2016-17 season in review 26 comments by Fellipe Miranda@Brazfoot Jun 28, 2017, 1:30pm BST Appearances: 35 starts (5 as substitute). Minutes: 2,498 in Premier League; 547 in domestic cups. Statistics (per 90 minutes, Premier League): 36.21 passes attempted (79% completed); 1.91 successful take ons (67.1% success rate); 1.44 tackles won (50% success rate); 1.12% aerial duels won (35.2% successful challenges); 1.55 interceptions. At the start of his Chelsea career back in 2012, Victor Moses was known as a speedy winger who would wreak havoc on either flank on defenders like Branislav Ivanović with exciting, inventive, powerful wing play. After his first season at the club, a season in which he scored a career high number of goals and played a key role in Chelsea winning the Europa League, he was reduced to the role of a loan warrior who never got a proper chance at the first-team despite repeatedly impressing in preseason. That all changed when Antonio Conte came into the fold. For the first time in three years, Moses was actually rewarded for his preseason performances, earning his spot in the team as a backup winger before taking on a far more crucial role as a converted wing-back in Conte’s 3-4-3. His speed and ability to beat his man were now coupled with relentless running, defensive strength, and growing tactical awareness. Moses made more league appearances this season than all but one prior season in his career. His importance to team was highlighted by his rare absences, or, like in the FA Cup final against Arsenal, the occasional poor match. His success on the pitch coupled with an amazing life story quickly made him a fan favourite. No one expected a player who spent three unremarkable years on loan at three different Premier League teams to suddenly reveal himself as such a crucial asset to the team. But that’s exactly what he did, silencing his doubters, at least for a while. While his performances in the first half of the season were beautiful, they were not quite as good in the second half. Perhaps affected by a toe injury that eventually required surgery at the end of the season, he ended his marvelous season on a down note. However, that alone should not negate every good contribution he made during Chelsea’s climb to the Premier League title. The Good During our club-record 13-match winning streak in the Premier League from October to December, Moses was so instrumental and so good, he even garnered the Barcelona transfer rumor mill’s attentions. Chelsea were quick to shut down any such talk with a well deserved long-term contract extension and pay rise. The Bad On top of his poor performance overall, Moses earned a foolish second yellow card for diving against Arsenal in the FA Cup final. The Best Moses saved one of his four goals of the season for the winner against Spurs in Chelsea’s 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge. With the game tied 1-1 early in the second half, Moses made yet another lung-bursting charge up the pitch to collect his reward. Verdict As one of the team’s most important players last season, his poor performance in the FA Cup final was especially disappointing. Still, that should not eviscerate his overall record for the year, though it should underline the need to bring in at least a capable back-up and challenger for the role. The upcoming season will be one for Moses to prove that he was not merely a one-season wonder. He is another keep in our books. |
