As in ehn. All hopes on August now cos even next round is still dicey

You can't be more accurate.

My assumption is that this 1st round is to clear high points (70+) backlogs and hopefully they have all been cleared. Hopefully next round will carter for 65 pointers backlog too

Good news. GTbank has done an upward review of international spending limit on your Naira Mastercard. You can spend up to $1000 on POS and online payments within a month. In other words paying for assessment has become less rigorous.

First round ITA last year was over 2200
First round ITA this year is just 1000......

I can't just wait for occupational ceiling to be released so I can find my way.

With present trend, do U guys think that civil engineer with 65 points get an invite in the next round? I mean the backlog must be finished by then or there will be more wait?
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by teewhysafe(f): 10:20am On Jul 12, 2017
Truth is we cant say until the new occupation ceiling is out.

However there is still backlog of 75/70/65 pointers with early date of effects also.

So if 2nd round in July doesn't fly, most likely we should start getting invites in August.

don't u think that more people will be applying and backlog will never be over as there are only 1000 invites per round, I fear more and more rounds

Unofficial Skill Select results for July 12th 2017

Not much data around at the moment so this table will update over the next 24 hours or so…

A few things to remember :

– There are only 1000 places for the 189s in this round. I expect this is lower than normal because DIBP have also opened up an extra pathway for the 189 visa for New Zealand citizens who have earned high wages in the last 5 years in Australia. There may be over 40,000 people eligible for this pathway and so this may impact the 189s available through the points tested 189 visa. At least until DIBP see how many applications they receive from NZ citizens.
– There has been a very large backlog of new EOIs in ALL occupations that have built up in April, May and June 2017, not just Pro Rata occupations. And so the invitation mark is and will continue to be artificially high in many occupations for maybe the 1-3 months
– Those applicants at 60 and 65 points in NON Pro-rata occupations may miss out for a round or two as a result also. We have not seen any 60/65 point invitations in any occupation yet
– We have not seen the new 2017/18 Occupational ceiling numbers anywhere still. We, like everyone, are badgering DIBP to release these. There is no excuse now that they have actually invited the first round of places as they clearly know their numbers.

Ok here is what we have so far. If you have any credible EOI invitation dates more recent than this at the same or lower points, please email us at query@iscah.com and we can look at updating the table.

This is the lowest point total and most recent invitation date we have for the following pro rata occupations

2211 Accountant 75 – 09/04/2017
2212 Auditor (no figures)
2334 Electronics Engineer 75 – 23/05/2017
2335 Ind, Mech, Production Engineers 70 – 01/06/2017
2339 Other Engineering Professionals 75 – 15/06/2017

You don't need any agent. You can do everything on your own...read the first three to five pages of this thread to have the basic knowledge required

That's why you were asked to read from Page 0. As an Engineer, you do not require work experience to get assessed.

Hi guys, I'm doing PCC by Friday and going for medicals by next weekend. My wife will be 14 weeks pregnant by then. If I can lodge my 190 visa by 24th and front load all doc's, I'm hoping for direct grant in 4 - 6 weeks. My hope is that IOM can assist to book a ticket for 1st or 2nd week in October.

I don't want to get trapped in Naija due to my wife's prenancy. Does anyone know what the maximum weeks of pregnancy we can be allowed to fly with Emirates or Qatar?

Also how long does IOM take to get booked tickets?

With Emirates, you are allowed to fly upto when you are 36 weeks if u get a fitness to fly certificate from a hospital. But flying at 36 weeks is risky though. 32 weeks is fine.

Has she undergone her medicals prior to conceiving?

X-ray radiation may affect the unborn baby. Kindly put ur application on hold if she hasn't.

Its really not worth the risk.

Don't try booking for flight until your application is finalised. You are not the CO to think you can put a timeline to the application.

Be patient, you have been in the country till now, extra weeks of waiting wouldn't hurt.

I actually tried reading up on this and from information gathered, there are more specialists who are of the opinion that it wouldn't hurt the unborn (provided there is usage of a shield during the exercise) than those who have some level of doubt that it might hurt. More so, it's a one time event.

Well I'd rather take all precautions just incase.

Your choice really. Even IOM declared they don't want you concealing the fact that you are pregnant.

Yes o...me too. I've been doing a lot of research on the subject. I also got in touch with some of my doctor friends, and they told me there's no worrying over such. They said modern operations provides a shield and that the ray will in no way affect the baby. She further said as long as it's chest X-ray, it has no effect whatsoever if shielded

He doesn't have to conceal it. In fact, he shouldn't so that the test conductor can do the needful- the use of a shield.

It's now left for the case officer to ignore that part of the medical report and approve their grants or delay stylishly till wife delivers. Lol

e-Family,

Greetings.

My current employer, a financial institution, has declined my request for employment reference to VETASSESS (internal auditor).

I saw something about a ''witness'' in Oga Bellong's sample. Just to be sure. Please, who is supposed to swear the statutory declaration of employment. Is it the applicant quoting his supervisor's details or the supervisor stating the applicant works with him?

Which is better/acceptable; a notary public or taking the declaration to the court for declaration?

At the asker don't mind him, ayam a good agent, Peter Dutton& Malcolm Turnbull are my stepfather and Godfather respectively.
You may pm me, success rate with me is 100%, you'll pay me 2510 AUD upfront, when it succeeds, you'll add AUD 190, but in case it turns out otherwise ( which is uncommon with me), you'll get your 10% back fully within 24 hours.
