So many quack doctors in the house. Doctor done already tell Una say he collapsed with cardiac issue, the brain damage was a secondary problem caused by lack of oxygen to the brain after he collapsed. Una still dey speculate blunt trauma and neuro issues. I once knew a girl who was oxygen deprived during her birth. A very beautiful girl, but those few minutes of oxygen starvation meant she had no retentive memory. She could not remember what happened yesterday, and had to write everything down to recall them, some of the basic things we take for granted. It was a sad situation cos this girl fine pass Beyonce and Alicia Keys put together. 10 Likes |

diggz:No, don't mistake my realism for pessimism but let's observe a NLer that actually has kids on this section(Although I heard he got cuckholded) ...He is a fat fool that makes foolish comments if his hypothetical kid somehow manages to have the physical aspect on lockdown and stands out as a bigger faster player, the kid will most likely flop at the U-16+ level where he will see bigger and faster brutes than him, it's up to him to use his intelligence which frankly he will find challenging as he wasn't blessed at the genepool...So no I'm just being a realist, rather let my kids dabble in arts than athletics but ultimately I will support whatever they fancy considering only 1% of players make it pro. |

Ibime: I swear this is similar to what happened to me after an inter-departmental match i played. I couldnt remember anything for like 50 secs, a friend in front of me almost started crying. I was just saying 'i am finished ' ' i am finished help me, i cant remember anything'. It was scary. 2 Likes |

airmark: That's a different one from oxygen. That's a concussion. I once took a standing concussion going up for a corner. It didn't knock me out but it wiped my memory completely for 30 minutes. We were playing far away in South West London, Berrylands, home of King's College, near Kingston to be precise. I travelled there from my home in Edmonton, North-Central. I let out a scream like someone bust my head open and I was gonna die. But I didn't fall. I kept on playing, and didn't even remember my name or who I am again. To cut a long story short, after about 15 mins, I realised I must be far away from home and didn't know where I would be going after the match as I forgot where I lived. The thought made me panic that my memory would never return so I started crying. That's when my teammates came and started reminding me of my name, what course I am studying, what year I am in etc. I was still crying though cos nothing could register. What made me calm down was I suddenly remembered that I had stopped by a family friend's house in Kingston on my way to the match, so I said worse case scenario, I will go to her house after the match, then she can call my people to come and take me home, and I would be straight from there. So I took heart and stopped crying. Slowly through the match my short term memory started returning, then eventually my long term returned also. By the time the match ended, I was back to myself fully. 2 Likes |

airmark: Cool story, once again oxygen starvation won't do that to a person, your experience Was no where near Nouri actually it must have been your village witches reminding you that they are in still control over your head. 1 Like

Ibime: Wow. You are right, i couldnt remember my name and that of my friend. I was even asking the guy what we were doing before. It happened so fast and i would have started crying if it took more than a minute to recover. But, i thought concussion could only happen as a result of blow in the head or so, because i never received any blow or butts in the head. finished the match well and about 5 minutes later, i experienced it. That stuff was scary, i was afraid to play the subsequent match. |

PattyCake: Mumu, what carries oxygen to the brain? Have you heard of anoxic seizure before? |

airmark: You are the real fool here, so you are saying you had a seizure yet you were standing up straight and talking...once again Cool story.

PattyCake: Keep moving from post to pillar. 'I too know' will always expose your limited knowledge. Once blood doesn't supply into the brain momentarily, you are starved of oxygen, get that into your brain now. |
