I don't know of one sane, decent person who can 'like' a place like Lagos. Most people I know just tolerate the place, the same way a sick person tolerates medication but to like Lagos.... you must be nuts. Channels to the sea are being blocked by sea water and rather than flowing out, the channels usher in water from the sea. Blocked drainages are not responsible for the heavy flood. Yes, Lagos is a coastal area and we all know this but the truth is it would continue in this manner if the ebb tide does not come anytime soon.

A huge chunk of ice was reported to have split and would gradually melt as reported last week. States such as Benue and a handful of other states have been making rounds since last month. This is not just the work of blocked drainages.
