Hope ur dad didn't receive a lump sum weeks before u submitted ur application, there r so many angles to it.

In the IMM form, $23500 was stated as funds available. Lump sums that entered d acct was like 2 months before I applied. I will apply for my gcms to get detailed reasons for the delay.

I also hear for one to study law in Canada, 1 has to go back to do undergraduate due to the difference in laws, unless if 1 studies from a country with similar legal systems. he studied here in Nig

2. Another wants to go for a masters. applied and was denied visa last year december. when I thought about his story i saw a few loopholes, he already has an MBA and was applying for a PGD course. Also he used an agent who advised that he didnt have sufficient funds in his account (about 5m), hence they would get documentation saying that he was an employee of some random coy and this coy would then provide sponsor documents for him to use to apply. sadly what they did was just to put money into that coys acct for the purpose of statement printout after which they removed it same day. omo ds guy wrks with a bank o, yet agreed to such a silly idea. atyms agents though... anyway, now he wants to re-apply. its already on record that he wrks with this certain coy so how does he come out to say he actually works with a bank and has been there for x no or years without it contradicting whats already on record. also as he already has an MBA, can he still go for anr MBA or he will be expected to proceed to do PHD. poor dude is thinking of just borning his canadian dream altogether and try Australia or any other country that doesnt have his records already.

Hi, The Law Graduate can pursue a Masters in the political science field. His academic background ties in with that but it depends on him and what he wants for himself moving forward.
Your second friend's story has a long K-leg; I don't even know where to start. If he wants to emigrate, there are other legitimate routes to go through - he shouldn't abuse the study visa.

My (unsolicited) advice to you would be to be wary of making other people's problems your own. Hope this helps.

For all those who intend studying a different course to there Undergrad pls get 2 admissions wit one relating to ur undergrad and the other your preferred course.

Once you het ur trv and land Canada tou change school to ur prefered course of study.

Though you completely negleted home tie...even bro and siblings birth cert wey we dey manage for those without job offer you no even include.

This case isn't obviously about home tie...

i already got my student visa here for fall term is it advisable i apply for Canadian PR skilled work as am eligible for it?

Having a job back home isn't enough...Don't jst leave it at that as home tie...rather prove that you would return to ur job after school but how?? Study leave letter (If possible with bond)
2. I would still suggest you pay tuition
3. Have your living expenses in ur account with a letter of fund export.

Tho there's someone on this thread who got approved when his app isn't this tight. Yet don't take things for granted cos others got approval. Be very detailed in every aspect of your app.

I wont recommend paying for a room when you are not there in Canada yet. What if you don't get a TRV? You just loose your money for no reason. Paying your tuition and opening a bank account in Canada and transferring money there is enough for a slam dunk that you will need.

All school do it. If only you ask. U.K is £100 deposit. You choose your hostel n room online and its reserved till u arrive.

I also applied to Uni of saskatoon and i am waiting for their reply. I have gone thru most of d supervisors cv and sent dem emails. Some respond dat dey dont have space ans some dont respond at all. I have bin on dis process for almost a year now

If YES, State it categorically that you have funding hence only seek for a supervisor to work with his team.

Scholarships don't come easy.

However there are schools that don't need you to contact a supervisor before applying.

If you are serious with this..from the moment you read this start sending 5 or 10 mails per day for till u find schools that doesnt need you to contact a supervisor before you apply.

So guys I found out my application was rejected because I didn't pay tuition fees...that it was perfect until then. I basically covered home ties and every other issue apart from that. Anyways I have asked to defer my admission and will pay tuition fees. I heard it is an unwritten policy that you must have paid your school fees though it doesn't guarantee you the visa. Good luck guys

But then i saw the sponsorship aspect which u said stated that.

I think this becomes a case of individual difference. Another VO would have comfortably approved your app.

I have a reservation deposit of room too at my school dorm. But I can't see how such a receipt will influence the VO's decision if you are not qualified for a visa. But thanks for explaining where you are coming from. I thought you were paying for your rent. It's a deposit that is applied to your rent should you choose to attend and reside in student housing.
