Lol..he only shows those skills in friendlies?Till he starts showing those skills in competitive games, I wont take you serious.

What was so special about the Zambian goal again? Any average joe will go past an unrushing keeper. Every man and his dog knows that kelechi is deficient in the skills department these days. His stats for 3 seasons in professional football stands at 0.3 on the average. chew on it

So now he showed it in friendlies. I thought you said it was coached out of him. Case dismiss. Average Joe will go past keeper rushing. And you said you played ball. I doubt it.

You cant even back up your argument with proper data. I have always said skills have been coached out kelechi at Man city having watched him closely for 2 years. Icon4s can recall when I said this a long time ago.
This afternoon when I looked at his stats, it confirmed my thoughts. Kelechi as a matter of FACT is one of the worst dribblers in the present Super Eagles team. I can say this before any oracle, I have the evidence.
Not only his dribbling ability has been coached out. His first touch nose dived from good to worst...

The kelechi we knew was even skipping past players while playing in the EDS. He was even amazing during pelle's reign at the main team and then he was no where close to the national team.

His stint under Guardiola would have been termed a wasted years. But thank Goodness he has learn't sport dietary, when and how sleep, etc of it likes.

I only hope he can rediscover his old self and once again relaunch his career. Cos in modern day football you are as good as your last game.

Chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, Chris Green, said yesterday that the coaches are expected to report at the NFF Secretariat, Abuja on Tuesday, 22nd August 2017, with their original credentials and other relevant certificates/documents.

The list of short-listed candidates was drawn from the pool of applicants who heeded a public notice by the NFF for applications two weeks ago.

The football governing body has advised all the coaches that they would be responsible for their movement to and from Abuja, as well as their upkeep and other personal expenses in the Federal Capital Territory.

Meanwhile, the NFF has appointed Christopher Danjuma as Head Coach of the U-20 Women national team, also known as Falconets.

According to fixtures released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), two-time FIFA World Cup silver medallists Falconets will take on Tanzania in Nigeria on the weekend of 15-17 September, with the return leg in Dar es Salaam two weeks later.

The winner over both legs will then confront the winner of the fixture pairing Morocco against Senegal in November, before a final round of qualifying matches in January 2018.

The Falconets have played in every edition of the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup, since it was launched as an U19 tournament in Canada 15 years ago. The team reached the quarter finals in Thailand 2004, Russia 2006 and Chile 2008, before finishing as runners -up at the 2010 finals in Germany and at the 2014 finals in Canada.

Isaac Success is still adapting to the Premier League believes Watford head coach Marco Silva

By Hertfordshire Mercury | Posted: August 19, 2017 | By Matt Storey

Marco Silva believes Watford winger Isaac Success is still adapting to the rigours of the Premier League.

The Nigerian was the Hornets' record signing when he joined from Granada last summer, but, barring a couple of strong showings against Bournemouth and at Middlesbrough, struggled for much of his debut season.

Injury did play its part and sidelined Success just as he looked to be finding his best form, once he returned, though, he found chances limited.

Walter Mazzarri felt the 21-year-old was not professional enough and needed to improve his attitude.

It resulted in regular, brief substitute appearances during the second half of the season and Success has not been involved in a matchday squad since the defeat to Everton on May 12.

If Watford fans though Success' future was up in the air after his omission against Liverpool and having started just two league games since his move, Silva played down the possibility of him leaving.

"This situation: He's a young boy and boy who needs to adapt to this football," Silva explained, "and to our ideas as well.

Isaac Success celebrates his only Watford goal against Bournemouth last October

"We tried to put that to him as soon as possible because he's one player we believe in as a project - as a Watford project.

"Until now I don't have a decision. He stays with us, he works hard and tried to find his space in the team. It's what I want him to do."

Silva was asked whether reports of Success leaving the club were true and batted them off straight away.

Adding: "It surprises me, this. Until now I haven't spoken with anybody about the situation."

Pellegrini prefers direct play over unnecessary show of skills. The skipping of players was under Patrick Vieira. It is change of style to suit Pellegrini's fast direct passing system. Not coaching the skills out of Nacho and certainly not Pep.

Exclusive: La Liga Club Leganes In Talks With Watford Striker Success Over Loan DealAccording to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Spanish La Liga club Leganes are exploring ways to sign out-of-favour Watford attacker Isaac Success on a season-long loan before the end of the transfer window.

The Nigeria international has found himself down the pecking order of strikers in the new season, and did not make the Hornets match day squads against Liverpool and Bournemouth.

Leganes sporting director has opened a line of communication with Success's appointed agent, UK based Ladi Salami, who was one of the parties that brokered the deal that took Odion Ighalo to Chinese club Changchun Yatai F.C in January.

Success is mindful of the fact that this is a World Cup year and he needs to be playing on a regular basis or he'll kiss goodbye to achieving his ambition of being on the plane to Russia.

The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles sensation has a contract with Watford until June 30, 2021.

We don't have that kind of fire power up-front that we will confine Victor Moses to the Right full back position.

It is not about confining him, RB is more closer to the position he plays at Chelsea. We don't have a RB that is on his level.

Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal Watch Cameroon Main Man Score Hat-Trick For PortoCameroon star Vincent Aboubakar is firing on all cylinders ahead of next Friday's World Cup qualifier between his national team and the Super Eagles at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The Porto striker is now the leading scorer in the Portuguese Primeira Liga after his hat-trick against Moreirense on Sunday took his league tally for the season to four goals.

According to sports daily O Jogo, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal scouts were among the 46,509 spectators at the Estádio Do Dragão.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Porto's Algeria international Yacine Brahimi this summer, while Manchester United and City have monitored his progress in the past.

Juventus, two French and two Spanish clubs also sent their scouts to monitor the game between Porto and Moreirense.
